In the 11 days since the accident a lot had changed. Austin and Lucy had been released as their physical wounds had heeled up. Rosie and Blake were still being kept due to the doctors wanting to monitor internal damage and not wanting to risk them getting injured again, but they were close to being able to leave. The mystery brunette was still in the coma, the doctors and nurses who had been working on him didn't see much of a change and worried that he may not wake up anytime soon. Megan had only just been moved out of intense care and was slowly gaining some form of normality in her life, especially as she could now leave her room. As for Brenda, she still didn't remember anything, well except from the memories she'd made in the past 11 days.

Leaving the comfort of her room for the second time since the accident Megan was met by a familiar face.
"Drew hey, what's up?'
"Austin can't come to see you today, he has to do some work in the studio which is ridiculous considering everything that went on, but we're on a tight schedule and the album release is in a month... I just —" he sighs before continuing. "He wanted me to tell you, especially as he said you two were playing to hang out today. Just don't hate him for not coming in, it's not his fault."
"I could never hate him... But thanks.. For telling me, I appreciate it."
"No worries, are you okay? Like do you want any company or anything?"
"No, well I mean, you don't have to keep me company if you don't want to. Like if you're needed in the studio or anything then you can go."
"Nah, I've done all the recording they need so I'm all yours."
"Are you sure? I'm going to meet Rosie and Lucy anyway so you really don't have to keep—"
"If you don't want me coming all you have to do is say."
"I just don't want to force you to come.."
"I honestly don't mind, let's go." Drew speaks with a smile before walking with Megan to the cafeteria.

Arriving at the cafeteria, Rosie and Lucy are sat having a conversation about soup. It isn't a very existing conversation but due to the fact Rosie is still eating hospital food, it is the best they have. Their conversation stops when Megan and Drew sit down.
"Hey Drew," Rosie says with a smile receiving a quick flash of one back from him.
"What are you two talking about?" Megan asks, curious as to what she'd missed before arriving.
"S—" Lucy begins before being interrupted by Rosie.
"Nothing interesting..."
"Oh okay, well, uhm...." Drew drags the last word on, not wanting the conversation to end but not knowing what to say.

A silence starts to linger in the air between the four people, them not really knowing where to take the conversation. Due to the silence, the whole table begins to have a really awkward feel to it. That is until Megan (the saviour) starts a conversation again.
"Do you guys know where Megs is? I haven't really seen her much in the past couple of days. Oh and Brenda too. The last time I left my room I wanted to go see her but couldn't for the life of me find her."
"Brenda's... She's good, I think..." Lucy starts, trailing off as she thought about how much time Brenda had recently spent away from her room with the mystery male. Lucy could only be with patients when it was visiting hours now, but even with those limited hours in a day, she never did seem to see Brenda much. "As for Megs, I walk in with her from time to time and she always seems to disappear into a room I've never been in. I keep meaning to pop my head around the corner and look who she's with, but every time I ask her about it she gets really defensive... I just don't want to intrude on something that clearly means a lot to her."
"I thought she only knew you three and Brenda from the car accident?" Drew asks with a raise of an eyebrow.
"That's what I thought too but apparently not." Lucy replies with a shrug.
"Is she here now?" Rosie asks, moving her line of view from Drew to Lucy.
"Uh, yeah, I think so? I don't know. I didn't see her earlier, due to work and stuff. We don't always come in at the same time you know? We just come in when it's convenient, no offence but I doubt I would have even come in today if I wasn't meeting you guys. Like I love you all, I really do but I'm not sure coming in every day is great for either of us. You'll be sick of me by the end of the week."
"We'd never get sick of you." Megan says with a comforting smile, deep down she just enjoyed the company, especially because Austin wasn't around anymore to provide any. She'd grown close to him recently but now he had to go back to the 'real world'.
"What's it like outside the hospital? I miss it. The fresh air, the freedom."
"Anyone would think you're in prison with that attitude." Megan teases, looking at Rosie with a smirk across her face.
"Oh shush you." Rosie replies nudging Megan lightly in the arm.

Megs was late. Not even subtly late. She was getting closer and closer to being an hour late. This was one of the problems of making yourself a routine and planning to go see the brunette male at the same time everyday, it didn't always work out. Somewhere between work and showering she'd lost track of time and now she had miss the bus that she had planned on getting. Hurrying, she rushes out the house with damp hair, random clothes thrown on and her bag which she hopes has her purse/phone inside of it. With luck, another bus would come soon but if she misses that too then she would definitely have a problem. Running to the bus stop, Megs let out a sign of annoyance as another bus passes the bus stop without stopping. Mumbling a swear word under her breath, she sits down on the seat at the bus stop.

By the time Megs finally got to the hospital it had just gone 8pm, she had had to wait twenty minutes for a bus and then travelling just under an hour on the bus to get to the hospital. Normally the bus didn't take that long to get there but luck apparently wasn't on her side today. Quickly walking into the hospital, it wasn't long before she is stopped by a doctor.
"Visiting hours are over."
"I know but—" She starts before she got cut off.
"If you knew that then you wouldn't be here."
"Please, I need to see him. Just 5 minutes, please."
"I'm sorry I can't do that, you need to leave." Megs sighs at the doctor before turning to leave, annoyance filling her due to the fact that today would be the first day she hadnt been able to visit the male. A thought occurs to her before she leaves the hospital and she quickly rushes to find a familiar doctor who she'd seen near the brunette male.
"Hey Megs, right?" The male doctor speaks with a polite smile. "What are you doing here? Visiting hours ended fifteen minutes ago."
"Oh yeah, I know. I'm just about to leave, but before I do, can you do me a favour please?"
"Sure, what's up?"
"Can you tell him something for me, the male in room 163?"
"Yeah, sure. What do you want me to tell him?"
"Can you just tell him that I was here? I know it's not likely he'll be able to hear you or me but I was busy this morning before lunch and couldn't make it in, and then this evening I was too late. I just— I don't want him to think no one cares. I know I'm the only one who ever goes to his room, and I just—"
"Hey, I understand, don't worry about it. I'll tell him for you." The doctor replies before smiling a comforting smile at her. "I'm sure he appreciates you being there for you, you're a good friend for being here for him you know?"
"Yeah, friend. Anyway, I better be going, thanks, I appreciate it."
