"That eye...you know the eye. The eye that wanders off on its own by the will of its owner. It's the one who causes the most trouble in many situations? Yeah, you know that eye." -Yamesia
A week has passed by since the incident of Paris being shot and nearly lying on her death bed. Malcolm has catered to her every whim, making every desired wish come to life beyond her eyes.
After spending a few hours with their kids, Malcolm decided it would be best if they were to live with Jules for a while, just until things were to settle down and come back together. The way their lives were at the moment, anything could have happened if their kids were in the house at the same time they were.
The questions of "what if they happened to get caught in the crossfire?" "how would things be if one of the kids jumped in front of the gun just to save my life? Or Danielle's?"
Paris and Malcolm wouldn't be able to live with themselves, nor look at one another as they had to live each day knowing that either one of their children were shot, or killed by the spitting bullet. As well as it being triggered by their auntie, someone they love and deeply trust.
The hurt would be more than inevitable to live with. And just to think that a minor argument resulted in Milianna and Danielle being at each other's throats over the smallest things.
Questions still linger around the fact of why Danielle was at the house with Milianna, or why either of them were there in the first place. Malcolm has refused to speak to her, as well as Paris. They place all of the blame on the both of them for being selfish, inconsiderate, and petty.
It's said to be that everything happens for a reason, but they didn't want to believe it at that moment. They both know what would have happened if Danielle hadn't had moved out of the way, she'd be laying up hurt or better yet dead, because Milianna would not have stopped raging the bullets into her if she would have shot her the first time around.
Paris decided against pressing charges, and wanted to stick with it so. Even though she's hurt by the fact that she had pulled a gun on Danielle in her home, she didn't blame her for being shot instead of Danielle since she decided to jump out of the way.
As for Danielle and Davionne, the two were nowhere to be found. Damien visited Paris while she was in the hospital, bringing along DJ. He didn't understand why Danielle and Milianna maintained to always be in random arguments with one another over something that never happened, according to Danielle, but he had wanted the feud to end between the two immediately.
As of now, it would never end and everyone was sure of it.
Malcolm soothed out his wife's sore back as she lied on her side. It pained too much for her to lie flat on her stomach, and she didn't wanna start until the next week. She rejected therapy, saying her husband was the only physical therapist she needed.
"Ah, right there Malcolm." She moans softly, closing her mouth and eyes.
They were finally home, and loved being there. Spending time in a cold hospital was something they dreaded the entire week she had to remain there.
"Hey, hey, hey. I got the ice, the snacks, and a good movie." Triston chimed as he entered their master bedroom.
Paris looks up at Triston and smiles. "Thanks T."
