"Such an annihilation, dismemberment, and a superior status change for the recharged hard-ons that used to be so simple... so, so, so simple. Where has the time gone? Most importantly... where have we gone?" -Yamesia
"How are you mama?" Maureece immediately asks as he answers on the first ring.
Once Malcolm informed him on the news of his mother, and uncle, he had been calling nonstop since that moment to reach out to the both of them on their condition.
Finding out his mother is pregnant once again had Maureece overriding with joy and extreme anticipation. He couldn't wait for the rest of the seven months to be over, so he could finally meet his baby sister or brother.
"I'm fine, baby. Thank you for asking. But I need to be asking you that, first of all," Paris says, hinting around his current situation.
Being that Madison and Maureece were on current bad terms with one another, Madison was trying her hardest and kissing his rear end, especially that of Paris and Malcolm's, to get back into the family's good graces.
"Ugh," Maureece groans out in agony. "I'm all right, honestly. Not even worried about her right now. Right now, it's all about my mama and my unc', okay ma?"
"I understand, son. And I hope you're serious about not being bothered with Madison. You know some things she does can come as a complete surprise. If you catch my drift," Paris sarcastically states, her eyebrows high in the air at alert.
"Uhhh yeah. She's still trying to pin that baby on me, but once she gets down here we can do a DNA test to see. But if it's not, then she can go ahead and exit my life for good. You wanna know what she sent me yesterday?"
Paris sighs and leans back into her hospital bed. "Sure, son."
"She sent me a text message saying how much she misses me, that her new boyfriend isn't like me, he's so jealous and insecure about himself, and how much she can't take it anymore. Then sent me a few nudes thinkin' I'd change my mind while she was sendin' me those long a-- paragraphs."
Paris shakes her head and raises her eyebrow in the air. "Watch ya' mouth, son. Calm down, okay?"
"I'm calm. She just ticks me off to the point where I'ma-- I don't even know, ma, really."
Maureece was a ticking time bomb, where if you punched the wrong wires, it may go off in the blink of an eye. Paris knew her son well enough to know he'd make a vow to hurt someone, and carry it out in ways no one could have ever seen coming their way.
Paris and Malcolm have tried steering their eldest child in the path of forgive and forget, but all to them both is doomed for failure if Madison is not on her right path to take a few steps back, and leave Maureece be.
"I understand your frustration, but ya' gotta remember that she does have a child now, so you need to be cautious about what the hell you think you gon' do. I love you, and me and your dad are willin' to do anything in our power to make this stop, make her stop, but we can't do that if you keep threatening her,"
Maureece impolitely scoffs. "Tuh, I haven't threatened her at all. She's waiting for me to do so, so she can have something to take to the police and show them that I'm no good. I know the type of girl she is, ma, ain't no doubt that she's only in it for the love of money. Now, I love money too--"
Paris cuts him off. "Of course, because you come from it. Plus, who doesn't love money?"
"But I'm not about to go around lying on people, killing people, for a few stacks that'll last me for two years. A life isn't worth two years of living in the life of luxury. And yeah, you and dad have provided for us our entire lives to where we've never had to worry about anything, but I appreciate it and am thankful that my parents provided a life for us that we've never had to beg for anything."
