i've never seen such a tremendous building.

it was practically a skyscraper.

i inhaled the smell of coffee and business, stepping carefully into the building.

my eyes glanced around, searching for mother. she had told me to wait in the car, but i'm obviously very impatient.

i had the feeling that I didn't belong in a place like this, but my mother did, so that means something, doesn't it? 

i caught a glimpse of a lady in one of those business suits, sitting across from a man that looked very deceptive and spiteful, which made a shiver creep up my spine.

he must've caught me staring, because with one look, my body was trembling with fear.
