I woke up the next day, looking around hoping that everything that happened yesterday was a dream, a very bad dream. But looking around the room, I realized it wasnt. Groaning to myself, I stood up and started shuffling my way to my duffle bag. At first I didn't care about being here, because i was with my uncle and cousin, but when I remembered I had to be the new girl all over again, my mind started racing with questions. What if they dont like me? What if I become the schools goody good again? I cant become the good girl again, I have to reevent myself. I looked through all of the clothes before finally deciding on a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, my black SWAG sweatshirt, and my black knee high boots. I wanted to look a little different than what I used to look like at my other school. Throwing the clothes on my bed, I sauntered my way to the bathroom to take a shower and do my normal routine. After my shower then dried and straightened my hair, I walked back into my room and got dressed. Looking at the clock I realized if I didn't leave now, then I would be late. I ran over to the door, and grabbed my backpack. As I gpt downstairs, I saw Bella and Charlie, already eating breakfast. "Good morning sleepy head." Charlie smiled, looking over the edge of his coffee cup. I smiled, laughing I looked over at him before grabbing my own cup of coffee and responding
"Good morning." I practically chugged the coffee when Bella walked over to me and told me it was time to leave. I smiled at her, "Well here goes nothing." I sighed. Walking with Bella to her old and beaten up truck, I noticed it looked like it used to have a dent. "What happened here?" I asked, pointing to the spot on my way around the back of the truck. Bella, looking like she was remembering something, smiled at me,
"Long story." She laughed, jumping into the truck. As I got in the truck, I shook my head and jumped in the passenger seat. She began driving to the school, she was still smiling. Rolling my eyes, I leaned against the window. "Alrighty, here we are." I heard Bella say as she shook me awake. Groaning, I didnt realize I had fallen asleep. As I opened my eyes, I looked around, there were kids running around, chasing each other. I saw two guys nearly fighting over a girl, luckily it was play fighting.
"This looks kind of strange." I said, my eyes darting everywhere.
"It gets stranger once you've met the gang." She smiled, shutting the truck off and hoping out. I followed her, my eyes still looking in every direction, I didn't want to be here, I just wanted to go back home and be able to sleep until like five minutes before school started since I lived next door. Nearly bumping into Bella as she suddenly stopped, I looked over at her,
"What the hell Bella." I said, rubbing the spot on my stomach where her backpack smashed into. "Why'd you stop like that?" Following her eyes, I saw three guys and two girls getting out of their cars. The guys were all very handsome, and the girls were absolutely beautiful, I now understand why she stopped and why she was starring at them.
"Isnt he gorgeous?" Bella asked me, I wasnt sure who she was talking about, but they were all gorgeous so I just stated a simple
"Yeah." And practically drooled over them as they walked into the school building.
"I sit next to Edward in science, and he seems like an asshole in the beginning but hes actually kind of nice, and the brown haired guy is Emmette, the blonde girl is Rosalie, the brown haired girl is Alice, and the blonde guy is Jasper." She explained to me as we walked up to a group of people. "Hey you guys, this is my cousin Jessica, but she goes by Jess." I waved hi to them, I could feel my cheeks burning a bright red, and I looked down at the ground. The blonde guy was really cute, he seemed like one of those annoying jock guys, but that didnt stop me from looking.
"Hey Jess. My name is Jessica too." A brown haired girl smiled, walking closer to me with her arm extended. I smiled at her and softly shook her hand. I was never good at meeting new people, I would always freeze and not know what to say, so I would usually say something stupid and get really embarassed. But luckily this time I was able to hold my tongue. "Where are you from?" She asked, her smile still as big as ever. How can she be this happy and awak this early in the morning, I thought to myself.
