ROMAN REIGNS

BEFORE I GO INTO THIS ONE, I WOULD LIKE TO FORMALLY STATE THAT NO, I AM NOT A ROMAN HATER AT ALL. SO DONT BE A HATING ASS BITCH SAYING IM JUST ANOTHER SMARKY ROMAN HATER BECAUSE AS SMARKY AS I CAN BE, I HAVE NEVER HATED HIM.

Contrary to unpopular opinion, I actually like Reigns.

I just dont like his gimmick.

I also don't like how he is booked.

Before I get into all that other stuff, lets take a moment to just acknowledge how SMEXY THIS SAMOAN GOD IS. LOOK AT HIM. FUCKIN FABIO

Bless his genes.

GIMMICK: I for the the longest time could not really tap into his gimmick after the shield broke up. At first, he was booked how he was supposed to be. A badass, someone who genuinely looked like they came just to kick ass and ask questions later but along the way I feel like creative didn't know which direction they were going in as far as he was concerned. Is he a tweener? Is he still face? Whats his character? He doesn't have enough charisma to add that extra oomph to his gimmick, something that systematically made 80% of the WWE'S fanbase turn on him. Hopefully we'll see a double turn tonoght at MITB because I really want to see what he can bring to the table as a heel champion.

IN-RING SKILLS: I am glad however that I've seen in ring improvement. His arsenal isn't huge, but for what he does if he has the right opponet he shows that he's not half bad in the ring. He has time to develop more skills to use and I'm not too worried about that. For what he does he does it pretty well and is a decent worker.

MIC SKILLS: But GOD HELP HIM his mic skills aren't good. Yes, they have improved but its not to a point where he sounds fluid in what comes out of his mouth. Its still very stiff, like he reading the lines right off the paper and he at times can't deliver a good enough promo. I feel like he has the potential to cut a great one and he has cut decent ones (like on Raw this past Monday) of Vince and Creative would just let not only him but much of the roster loose and get what they need to get acrossed without sounding robotic or too forced. He still has a long way to go in terms of cutting promos.

OUTSIDE THE RING/JOE: Joe looks like one of the chillest people ever to be honest. I love how he's such a family man, sticks with his morals and you can see that his family is so important to him. My heart mELTS whenever I see footage of him and his daughter Joelle because he looks like such a good father and that is gOALS! Also in interviews he's done he looks like a cool guy to be around in general.

OVERALL: In my opinion I think the WWE overexposed Reigns too soon. At the time when he got his monster push a lot of fans weren't ready for him just yet and he hadn't really been at that point where he could have time to grow as a singles competitor and move up the ranks slowly. If they had waited to push him or even repackage him to make him look much more intimidating and badass like they want us to think now he wouldn't have so much fan backlash. If they want the majority of the fans back on his side again I suggest they let him live up to his potential and let him be what his gimmick should be. I mean look back at TLC and the Raw following it. He walked into the event with a crowd of boos and left with a vast majority of the crowd cheering because of one good booking decision. And when he one the championship the night after it was rightfully a feel good moment for everyone. We want THAT Reigns.
