Prologue

I looked at Mom and Dad. They are really happy together. I'm too lucky to be their daughter.

I want to find a man like my father.

I never experienced to be loved by a special someone.

I really like someone, but no one knows. I rather keep it to myself than telling it to someone.

This is infatuation. No less, no more. Just in between.

"Kayt, I'm allowing you to have suitors since you are already 19-year-old pretty woman." Dad said.

"Dad, I don't have suitors. It never happened."

"You know why? Malamang natatakot sila sa iyo Kayt. Napakataray mo. Manang-mana ka talaga sa daddy mo. Isa pa, Prinsesa ka kaya siguro nahihiya sila. Start being friendly." My mom said. Actually, we are opposite when it comes to attitude. She's too kind because she has the heaven's magic.

Ang namana ko lang sa kanya ay ang white magic. White nga ba talaga? Maybe? Minsan ginagamit ko ang aking magic para sa paglalaro. Lagi akong napapagalitan noong bata ako. Bata pa naman so given na wala pa akong idea sa paggamit ng magic.

Namana ko naman daw ang ugali ni dad. Mas malala lang daw ako.

I love boyish outfit. I am more comfortable with that. I also love changing the color of my hair. Just to be unique.

"I will try, mom. I will." Natawa naman sila sa akin. I've never been in a relationship.

Kuya Klyzer and ate Minah will celebrate their 5-year relationship. I'm so happy for them. My big brother will marry my favorite sister soon.

"Mom, gagala lang ako. Yes, mag-iingat po ako." Napailing nalang siya sa akin. Inunahan ko na siya.

I saw Fleir with Aphrodite. Hindi ko sila inaate or kuya since suggested naman nila. Ayaw daw nilang magmukhang matanda dahil sa pag ate at kuya. Ang arte hindi ba?

Aphrodite is so pretty. Nakailang boyfriend na siya. Wala siyang sineryso kahit isa. Maybe because of the combination of love hater and a cupid? I really don't know. I understand her anyway. That's her life, I don't want to interfere.

"Hey, Kayt!" Bati sa akin ni Fleir. I glared at him. Naiinis ako tuwing ngumingiti siya sa akin. Alam kong aasarin na naman niya ako. I am used to it.

"Pikon ka na naman." I'm ignoring him. Sumusunod naman siya sa akin. Iniwan niya si Aphrodite. Magpinsan ang dalawa. I wonder if he likes his cousin? Is it allowed to like your own cousin? Oh, we are magical vampires so it is allowed to marry your relative.

I shook my head. Weird.

They can't read my mind except Sky. Lagi kong fino-focus ang sarili ko kapag malapit siya sa akin. I don't want him to know my little secrets.

He's not talkative unlike Fleir and Storm. Luna is the opposite of Sky even though they are twin. She's my best friend, my cousin too.

"I have an idea." Biglang lumitaw si Fleir sa unahan ko. Pinanliitan ko siya ng mga mata.

"What?"

"Do you want to go to Earth?" Napaisip naman ako. That's actually a good idea.

"Sure. I want to have an experience there. I want to differentiate two worlds. So let's go now?"

"This is the first time I saw you genuinely happy. Are you really sure you want to go there?" Tumango naman ako. Did I smile? Really? Good for him kung ganoon.

"Of course. I will not be happy if I'm not interested. Let's go. Don't tell it to anyone. I'm not allowed to go out outside you know." Natawa naman siya. Alam kong nagets naman niya ang ibig kong sabihin.
