Blurb: With nothing left to lose, Ivy Harris comes to Paris with only a suitcase and a secret. Hoping to learn more about her past, Ivy sets out to reunite with Kate, her estranged aunt. But, as Ivy begins to search through the ruins of her past, she finds herself increasingly pulled into the extravagant life her aunt has built over the last ten years. As Ivy's bond with local student Romain grows, she begins to wonder if these questions are worth the effort. But she cannot hide from her past, and soon she is forced to confront it. Perhaps, some secrets are best left kept.-0- I came across this book whilst reviewing the first chapter for critique for the Next Big Recognition. I was intrigued as the story is set in Paris, France and I visit my family there often. The main character in the book is Ivy. She's been through a lot and left America suddenly to come and stay with her Aunt Kate and husband Laurent. Use to living on the breadline her Aunt's comfortable lifestyle is in stark contrast to her own. She has come to unravel a mystery that she needs answered and finds that there is more to the past than she ever suspected.Along the way, she finds love, friendship and a chance of a new future within her reach. Then she gets a phone call and America beckons. The book has a real feel for Paris and captures the little things that make it special. You will love the main character and want her to have a chance to live the life she dreams of.The only slight downside of the book is it is not quite finished yet and the last chapters have not yet been written but I really enjoyed this book nonetheless. You will too. I can't wait to have the notification that there is more to read.

I also think you could label this chicklit and teenfiction as its a young peson's read.
