The art of the writer here is the way she almost immediately gets you to invest in the main character, as she writes in such a personal way that you feel immediately for the main character.

Her style is so easy to read, you are swept up in the story that the pages glide at enormous speed.It is hard for you to put the book down, as you feel so much for the main character Sarah and her hateful husband that you so much want her to find a better life and when she escapes you are overjoyed.

You feel so much for her when she makes a new life for herself and has to reinvent who she has, with no one to turn to. Yet her kindness shines through and love finds her.T his is not just a typical romance/suspense and some of the scarier moments really grab you and you are there caught in the moment. When she finds happiness, you so want all her dreams to come true but then are short lived when the husband seeks her out, with a dramatic ending. There are touches of Sleeping with the Enemy here but it does not detract from a great book and it is easy to see how Darly has become a Featured author and member of the , and will soon be published.
