Book Review: The one thing about this book is it breaks boundaries. It's not just a mystery or a thriller but it has science fiction wound in as well. It reminds me a little of IVM992's novels in that it mixes things up a little.

The three main characters are Zoe, Zachery and Josh but we focus on Zoe as the main anchor to the story. We realise part way through the story that past is very much a significant factor to Zoe's life and what is happening in the world. For years there has been a big cover up on an epic scale to hide the truth from the public. How much longer will the guardians be able to keep it a secret and will our truth seekers be able to discover what is really going on. Previously she disappeared and has never been able to come up with answers to where she went and why, suffering with criticism from her family and friends. Along the way, they discover real friendship, the possibility of romance and danger, as well as answers to Zoe's troubled past.

In the last dramatic scene there is a car chase, which puts their lives at risk but places the truth in the public eye and sees them all in a different light and pushes them to the limits.

It's a great page turner and I will definitely be looking to read the next book in the series.
