Chapter Six - Trouble at Comic Con!

I wasn't sure how to take that. I had started to get over the fact that he and Michael had gotten back together and that me and Gavin where just friends. I can't believe what he just said. He loves me? I know how hard it must have been for him to tell Michael and knowing what the reaction would be but saying it to me?! That would take courage.

He went to stand up but I grabbed his arm, he sat back down and then looked at me. I saw tears appearing in his eyes.

"Gavin... I- I- What!?"

He didn't say anything; I finished off my drink and looked at him again. This time tears where rolling down his eyes. I didn't know how to take this.

"Casey," He started. "I only realised I loved you when I had said goodbye to you. And it was on my mind the whole time and I couldn't control myself." I didn't say anything, "Casey, Please say something!?"

"Gavin, You know I still have feelings for you and that I do love you but I promised Michael that I-"

"Fuck Michael! It's none of his business who I'm dating."

"Yes, Gavin I know but you need to realise that, you and Michael, are made for each other. Okay? Just... I don't want to cause any more trouble between you two. When we get back, you two need to sort things out."

He nodded and finished his drink. We got up to leave and I said goodbye to Haley. When we got back to Charlottes house, she wasn't in. I'm guessing that she's gone out with the girls. I walked into the kitchen and saw a note left by Lottie.

'Casey, gone out with Luna and Eloise, pasta and stuff in cupboard... make Gav ur famous pasta bake. :) See ya panda! Lottie :P'

I shook my head and walked into the living room again. Gavin was on the phone, I guessed he was on the phone to Michael. I only heard Gavin's side of the conversation and from what I heard Michael wasn't taking it nicely. When Gavin hung up, he was between crying and smiling,

"What's happened Gavin?"

He took in a breath and said, "We've sorted things out but we're not getting back together."

I smiled, "That's good. you both can have to sort out problems and stuff."

He nodded, "And, you get to try my amazing Pasta bake... I haven't got the time at home to make it but Lottie has been shopping and gotten the stuff in."

"Okay... I'll be in here waiting to try this 'Amazing Pasta Bake!"

We laughed and I went into the kitchen to make dinner. When I had put it in the oven I went into the living room to see Gavin sat on the sofa, watching the Big Bang Theory. Then I remembered.

"Hey Gavin?" he turned to face me. "Comic con isn't for another day so why don't I ring Dan and see if he wants to go to Skegness with us? Lottie and I were going to take you but if Dan wants to come he can..."

He smiled, "Yea that will be cool. I'll give him a ring,"

I heard the oven go off so I went and got dinner out of the oven. God it smelt good! I dished it up and put the left overs in the fridge and put a note on there saying 'Lottie, Piss off!' I put the plates on the table and said "Dinner is served"

Gavin walked in and sat down. I made us a glass of coke each and sat down. He had started to tuck in and when I asked if he liked it, he just looked and me and said in his best Simon Cowell impression,
