Chapter 14 - I swear!
I pushed Michael inside and asked how he knew.
“It’s sort of obvious.”
“How is it obvious?!”
“Well, You don’t sit crossed legged anymore and we were all worried about you when we saw that!”
I chuckle and tell him to continue.
“You’re not as arse-y as you normally are this time of month and you don’t eat properly anymore. Ergo!”
He gestures to me and I sigh,
“Yes, Michael, I am pregnant and before you say ANYTHING! Its Gavin’s NOT yours! But I need you to do me a favour. So!”
I pointed to the stairs and said “You’re going to go upstairs, take a shower, get changed and then we’re going out”
He looks at me confused, “Whats the favour?”
“I need a lift and a cool tech guy to help me get my new phone…”
“Why do you need a new phone?”
“I got pissed off and threw my phone at a tree…”
“I saw you walk off the podcast! Hey! You are like me!”
I just laugh and push him towards the stairs
“I’m going, I’m going!”
An hour later, Michael and I are sat outside Starbucks with a drink and we’re going over my new Blue IPhone 5C. We sat chatting and giggling about old times.
“Oh, While you were getting the drinks, I went and got you these,”
He pull out of his pocket, a packet of Spongebob stickers. He hands them to me and I just start to laugh.
“You fucking idiot!”
He just shrugs. I grab my phone and start to stick them on the back. I show Michael and he just starts to laugh.
“I swear, I’m dating a bloody 5 year old!”
I hear from behind me. I turn around and see Gavin walking towards me. When he sits down, I just smile and say,
“Yes but a very sexy five year old!” I kiss him, “And one that is carrying you baby!”
I hear Michael laugh,
“Gav! You perv!”
We all burst out laughing and Gavin hands me my old Sim card.
“You pulled it out of the remains then?!”
He pulls out my old iPhone out of his pocket and hands it to Michael.
“Looks worse than the Xbox I smashed up” He turns it in his hands and then says, “I trained you well Casey,”
We all laugh again and then Michael dropped that awkward question,
“So, have you two talked about names?”
Gavin laughs and I rub my eyes and shake my head,
“Michael! It’s been a month and I only found out yesterday!”
He laughs and then we just joke about.
After about another 3 drinks, we leave and Gavin and I head home. When we walked into the apartment, I didn’t feel good. By the time I made it to the living room, I felt like my insides we’re coming up my throat.
“Casey,” Gav asked me, “You okay?”
I shook my head and ran to the bathroom.
Casey ran to the bath room and I followed her. When I walked in, she was leaning over the toilet and throwing up everything she had in her stomach. I walked over to her and started to rub her back,
