I open the car door a tiny bit so I can hear what the officers are talking about.
"He has a gun! He's saying he wants Faye instead. The girl in the car." Sargent Jones exclaims to officer Luke.
They stand a little bit of distance away from the car, thinking I can't hear them. I shudder. The kidnapper is after me? Why?
"Why is he after Faye? We have to call for back up!" I see luke begin to look on edge, and I couldn't blame him. On edge wasn't the word I was feeling, I can't even describe.
"I have already called for backup. He's saying he doesn't want Faye finding her mother or something. It was kind of baffled due to the thin wall between us. That's what I heard anyway." Sargent Jones looks at me, at that moment I feel unsafe. Even though two officers stand infront of me and there are more to come.
It doesn't make sense. Why would someone not want me to find my mother? It was strange that a few minutes ago I felt totally safe, and now the situation was seeming to be bigger than I thought.

"What's the plan? We just go in there?" Luke sounds quite scared himself.
After all, he's only on work experiece, so I wonder how many times he's been in a situation like this.
"The backup officers are here now. And yes, Officer Luke, that's exactly what were going to do. It will be an experience for you." Sargent Jones heads towards the other police car that has just pulled up a few meteres from where this car is parked. Luke looks at me for a moment and then runs towards the other car.
I wouldn't like to go inside the building, it is dangerous. But I hate sitting inside this police car feelig useless and powerless.
I just hope they get Cam out alive and safe. She has done so much for me even though I have only been in this country a few days, and she has helped me so much. If only I had found the voicemail sooner and met her by the park, she wouldn't be in this situation right now.
I peer through the front window and see four other officers step out of the otther police car, and they all head towards the building.
The officers use weapons and kicks to break down the door, which is disguised in a camouflage with the colour of the building, I hadn't noticed it until now, not like I was paying much attention to the details.
Once they break the door down, the officer's pull out their guns and head inside.
I hear another faint shouting, even as I'm quite far away from the building. I can hear a gunshot noise. I quickly slam the door shut and put my head in my hands wishing all this wasn't real.

I'm not sure how long my head was in my hands for, but I finally pluck up the courage to look through the front window again.
I see two officer's carrying another officer out of there, and I peer closely and realise who was injured. It was Luke! I put my hand to my mouth and gasp. I open the door a little bit, although I'm not sure why. I can't hear anything.
If it wasn't for me, officer Luke wouldn't be injured. Cam wouldn't be in this mess. I'm starting to wonder if I really should have came here in the first place, I should have stayed in England. But then I wouldn't have found my mother.
I hear a peircing scream. It sounds like Camille!  Cam was in more danger.
But before I can hear anything else, I see a figure with a mask over his face running out the building and towards the car I was in.
I freeze where I am. With so many thoughts going through my mind I quickly duck my head and move to the side and I manage to pull the seat down so I can climb in the boot, it's the only thing I feel I could do where the masked man wouldn't see me. I quickly climb into the boot and use all my strength to pull the seat back so I can !be more enclosed in there.
Pure darkness. I can't see or hear much, apart from the door opening and slamming shut and then the engine start to run. I put my head in my hands again and feel tears stroll down my face as I feel the car moving.

I have taken Cam's place. I am in danger now...
