There was a storm today, and I went to the home center as soon as the first drops of the rain fell.
"Seungcheol, I thought you weren't scheduled on weekends?" The head caretaker asked when she saw me in the lobby.
"Uh, no. Actually, I'm here as a visitor today." I replied shyly.
A teasing grin appeared on her face. "Ah. I get it. She's out at the field."
"Thank you." I smiled and immediately headed towards the garden.
Jia was out under the rain again, both arms spread out to welcome the rain.
I chuckled and ran towards her.
"Mind if I interrupt?" I asked, and she jumped slightly in surprise.
When she realized it was only me, she laughed in relief.
Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful.
"As long as you don't stop me from playing in the rain again."
My smile broadened and I walked closer towards her and grabbed both of her hands.
I pulled her up.
"What are you doing?"
"You won't enjoy it if you keep seated like that."
She kept the smile on her face, as she let me guide her towards the center of the field.
Her hands were cold from the rain, but I loved how it felt against mine.
Her hair was starting to get wet, and it messed all over her face.
I got one hand to push her hair out of her face, and the other never letting go of her.
"How does the sky look today?"
"It's still beautiful, even with the storm." I replied while staring at her.
