I was kneeling infront of Jia, staring at her face and trying to listen to every word she was saying.

She was telling me about her day, how she managed to read her first braille - that beautiful smile never leaving her face.

I was holding her hand the entire time, never ever wanting to let go.

"Seungcheol? Are you okay?" Jia asked when she noticed me being quiet.

"Y-yes." I replied, my voice breaking.

She frowned and reached her other hand to touch my face.

Her fingers slid on my cheek softly, and she caught my tears.

"You're crying." She said sadly and my heart broke even more.

"I'm sorry." I said in a whisper, not being able to hold my sobs anymore.

"I'm so sorry..."

She placed both palms on both sides of my face and lifted my head up to face her.

"What are you sorry about?"

I shook my head slightly.

"When I first saw you here, I knew right away that there was something special in you. It wasn't love at first sight, because I was already in love with you."

Jia smiled slightly and gently wiped the tears away from my face.

"My mind might have forgotten, but my heart surely didn't."

She pulled me into a hug and I embraced her tightly.

"I'm not leaving you again." I assured her.

She broke out of the hug and gave me a smile.

"It's okay, Seungcheol. As long as you're here now."

I leaned in and gave her forehead a kiss.

"Stay, okay?"

"I promise."
