"Dean! Dean, come in here!" The angel yelled. The hunter has never run faster in his life from his room, "Cas?! Cas, I'm comin'!" he yelled, only to find Cas struggling to button the last button on his shirt after they enjoyed a shower together. Dean chuckled, drying the last bit of his hair as he attempted to help his angel with his shirt.

Weeks passed and the days have been filled with research for cases and on nephilim's. Though the research on nephilim's was done in private behind Sam's back as he didn't know quite yet.

"I think you need some new clothes Cas. I have some older shirts you can wear for now before we can get you some bigger clothes." Dean sighed, gawking at his angel's slightly pudgier frame. The hunter smiled.

Castiel sighed and nodded, hanging his head as Dean removed the angel's shirt and dropped it to the floor. As quick as the hunter came, he took Cas by the hand lead him to his room to find an old AC/DC shirt of his rummaging through one of the many boxes he had stacked in the corner.

"Here, this should be good for a while." Dean suggested, pulling the shirt over Castiel and settling it.

Dean smiled, cupping the angel's face in his calloused hands and kissing his forehead. It wasn't a quick peck, but a longing and passionate kiss. It told Cas that he was safe in the hunter's arms and would always be safe in his arms. Him and and their baby.

Dean separated and gazed into Cas's wonderfully dark blue eyes. The hunter could see every fleck and streak of blue and grey. Fleck's made of worry and streaks created from love. The hunter couldn't tear his eyes away from Castiel's, like the night they first kissed. It was so invasive of their privacy to be so close and intimate that it felt safe, secluded, and private to their own terms. It was their own time and nobody could tell them differently when they were one. They were one body, mind, and soul.

Who knew just one time was just enough for one to create three?

A family.

Though different, out of the ordinary, illegal, and most certainly unplanned, it was a family. Something that Dean was given and could never be taken away. Everything in his life has been taken from him, even when he thought he was safe from harm and harm was far from him. But whatever he had, it slipped right through his fingers and could never regain what belonged to him.

But now he had something that could he could hold on to. Through light and dark times. With his angel and his baby.

Cas smiled that warm smile. Like how a mother would look to her child when she thinks they weren't looking. Admiration was the name of it and both the hunter and the angel took a liking to it. They kissed one last time; slow, fleeting, and loving before resting their foreheads together. The angel set his hand to the back of Dean's neck and held him there. He didn't want to release. He never wanted to. It was Dean and Cas and their baby, nothing else mattered. Cas didn't want anything else to matter.

"Don't you think Sam is getting a bit suspicious?" Dean asked, separating and rubbing his hands up and down Cas's arms as Cas pulled his hand down and over Dean's jawbone before resting it on the hunter's chest.

"I wouldn't think too much of it Dean. Sam already knows about our partnership, why would he have a reason to get suspicious?" Castiel asked. Dean ever so slightly rolled his eyes.

"I don't know," Dean commented sarcastically. "Maybe it's because you have another life growing inside you and, no offense, but you're going to get huge. I'm talking beach ball size here Cas. Kind of hard to hide something like that."

"You're mistaken Dean. If you remember from our research, nephilim only grow to be six and a half to seven months instead of the usual nine." Cas commented, tightening his grip on Dean as the hunter gave a questionable look before seeing his angel go weak in the knees and almost fall to the ground.

"Woah woah woah, Cas. Are you okay?" Dean caught him as he sat him on the edge of his bed and rubbed soothing circles into Cas's back. The angel clenched his teeth and screwed his eyes shut as held his head in one hand while the other was pressed his stomach.

"It's the baby. It's beginning the process of taking my grace for its own."

"So what the hell does that mean?" Dean asked, thoroughly confused by the angel's statement.

"Before this, nephilim are considered to be pronounced dead. They are practically nonexistent beings until they begin the process of stealing their hosts grace." Cas tried to explain, releasing a huge sigh of relief from all the pain he had cooped up.

"Again, what the hell does that mean?" Dean asked, not getting the concept as a whole.

Castiel sat more relaxed and calm, feeling the warmth of their baby's developing grace spread throughout his abdomen, feeling a grin spread across his face as he started to cry tears of joy. A human emotion he never experienced before. It was new and exciting and terrifying all at that exact moment. He looked to Dean, one or two tears escaping his damp eyes, smiling like an idiot.

"Our baby. It's....alive."

Oh hey guys! Before I forget...

I wanted to speak out about the Orlando shooting for a minute. I know I already posted something about it on the board, and I know you all are probably tired of hearing as much as I am, but I just wanted to say that it's okay to be scared. It's okay to be uncertain about something. It's okay to be....human.

We are all human in these situations, but for something as devastating as this to be done to us as a nation and to us as a community of LGBTQ people, it hits home closer than we want it to. And it hurts. I know it does.

But I just wanted to say that, no matter what you are all going through, no matter what you are all having doubts about, no matter how helpless or scared or devastated or lost you are all feeling, be kind to one another.

The golden rule I was taught was "treat others the way you want to be treated". And I know it really doesn't work in this context, but if all of you treat other with kindness, respect, love, and compassion, you will get the same in return.

Treat those around you as if it's the last moment you will ever see them again. Because you never know when it will be the last moment for them or for you. We all have uncertain times of when we will leave, but if we live together and as one, the time we are given will be worthwhile for when our time really does come.

Be kind to one another and just love.

Big smooch and gentle hug from Tex...

I love you all...

And you are not alone...

I love you...
