Rosalie

Monday reared its ugly head once again.

And it did not make it easier Noah was still acting odd from Friday night.

It's because of Johnny, that voice in the back of my head said. I sighed, that's very likely, after their weird introduction I could tell there was some tension already. Hopefully it would pass soon, I want things to be good between all of us.

My bedroom door bursted open, "Rosalie Garcia! You have some explaining to do."

"Can't I just hide under my covers all day and pretend like you're not here?"

Erica smirked, "Funny. You should be a comedian, you know that?"

I pick up my phone from my bedside table and check the screen, "It's 6 am, Erica. Isn't it too early for your sarcasm?"

"No, now get ready. Coach wants to talk to us about dance tryouts before school starts."

"Okay, will you drive this time?"

"Yes. Provided that you tell me more about that dream boat, Johnny! Also, Noah did not look super happy towards the end of Friday night, what was up with that?"

"I don't know actually.. he hasn't texted me much over the weekend."

Erica's eyebrows shot up, "That's not something you hear everyday, are you guys okay?"

I really don't know.

"I'll tell you all I can in the car, yeah? Let me get ready."

"What're you feeling for an outfit today?"

"I honestly don't know, can I just wear a paper bag and a sweatsuit or something?"

"No. I'll be waiting in the car, if you're not down in thirty, I'm gonna start honking like a crazy person."

I grab a pillow and chuck it at her, it hits her square in the face, "I love you, but it's too early."

She tossed the pillow back, flipped me off, and skipped out my door, leaving me to get ready in peace.

After about ten minutes of internal debating, I settled on a loose white shirt that sported the phrase "Lazy Queen" and black denim shorts. Within another fifteen I was able to take a quick shower, make my messy waves somewhat presentable for the day, and head downstairs to grab some fruit for breakfast.

"That's a new record for you!"

"That's a new record for you!"

I rolled my eyes as I got into the passenger seat of Erica's convertible, "Oh whatever, you should try it sometime."

She pretended to think about it for a second as she started her car and drove us in the direction of school, "How about no?"

We both shared a look and then laughed, she really wasn't the person you could ask to get ready in a hurried fashion.
