Noah
When you come to a fair or carnival you think about the fun games, rides, and delicious but totally bad for you food. You generally don't think about wanting to punch one of your best guy friends every five minutes because he keeps trying to one-up you in front of your girl best friend and somehow win her heart over.
But when Alec sets his mind to something, he doesn't stop unless he really is stopped.
"Hey Rosalita, this one is for you." Alec kissed the basketball in his hands and threw it into the basket, nothing but net. Show off. He pumped his fist in the air then put his arms around Ro, "What do you want gorgeous?"
"Uh, I'm okay. Maybe ask Jules! This first game was for her after all." she untangled herself from him and picked up Jules, "What do you want?"
My little sister had her cute thinking face on then she squealed and pointed, "The unicorn!" Once it was in her hands, she hugged it tight, "It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!! Thanks Alec!"
"No problem Jules. Next game?"
Ro took Jules to another game so I took this chance to pull Alec back. "Dude, what's your problem?"
"Me? My problem? Nothing. I'm just playing games at the fair. Isn't that what everyone does?"
"Yeah, but not everyone tries to feel up one of their good friends every chance he gets!"
"Hey, not my fault that Rosalie is hot and we're friends. I'm allowed to hug her and be playful with her. You can't tell me otherwise, you're not her boyfriend."
"Guys. Quit arguing or I'm telling Rosalie and she will deal with you knuckleheads herself."
We both crossed our arms and huffed, "Fine."
We caught up with the girls and they were at the game where you had to knock down milk bottles with a baseball. Of course Alec put down money and was first to try.
"I got this girls." He wound up and let the ball go, only to hit the top bottle.
Matthew and I stifled our laughter.
Alec scowled. "Oh yeah, let's which one of you dum dums can do better."
"I'll try." This time Matthew picked up a ball. He hit the first few bottles off. "Well, it was better than yours Alec. So ha."
"Alright boys, let me show you how it's done." I cracked my knuckles and picked up the final ball. I pulled back my arm and threw for the center. Lucky me I hit the sweet spot and all the bottles came tumbling down.
"You got lucky!" Alec grumbled and rolled his eyes.
I ignored him and turned to Jules, "Baby girl, what do you want?"
"No NuNu, not my turn right now. It's Ro's turn!"
"Jules, I'm fine!"
"But RoRo please please!"
This time I put my arm around her and pulled her closer to my side, "You heard the little princess. Can't deny her pleases!"
She laughed and smiled wide, "Okay okay, for her. Hm.... surprise me Noah. You know me better than anyone else."
"Oh man, a test of friendship?" I scanned the prizes hanging along the wall and I stopped on the perfect one, "Kind sir. I will take the elephant! My girl here loves elephants."
"Alright, one elephant coming right up. For your girlfriend, you two make a lovely couple."
Ro took the elephant and immediately squeezed it, "Thank you. I took him on a walk today, so he's playing nice."
