"Another day in the bunker for you?" Charlie said over the phone. You sent her a sigh of confirmation.
"Yeah, and I don't know if Castiel is stopping by today."
You laid down on your bed and stared at the concrete ceiling. You didn't mind staying in the bunker, but you also wanted to go hunting too.
"So, are you and Cas, you know?" Charlie asked with a giggle, making you blush.
Charlie was like an older sister to you because you couldn't trust your brothers with any secret of yours. You told her everything and she did the same. It was a beautiful bond between the two of you but sometimes she was worse than Sam and Dean.
"Charlie, it's just a schoolgirl crush. I'll be over it in a week," you denied as you sat back up. You messed with the end of your blanket. She knew you were lying and you knew that she knew that you were lying to her.
"You said that two months ago," Charlie laughed.
"Alright, but he's an actual angel, you really think he's gonna fall in love with me?" You laughed out bitterly. "We're fine on our opposite sides."
"You'll never know unless you try!" She cheered. "I got to go, Star Trek's on. Talk to you later!" And then she hung up on you.
You put your phone down and sighed. She did have a point, you'd never know unless you made the first move but also you were scared to be hurt. It was a lose-lose situation for you.
"(Y/N), are you ok?" Castiel said, popping out of nowhere and making you scream and jump back. "Why did you scream?"
"Because you can't do that, especially in my room! You're lucky I'm not changing!"
You saw a light blush appear on the angel's cheeks as he looked at his shoes and you realized what you said. "Just-just knock next time, ok?"
"Ok, (Y/N)." And he was gone.

You were in the kitchen, making some dinner for yourself when you heard the sound of wings flapping.
"Hi, Cas," you greeted while not turning away from the stove. "How's the hunt going?"
"It's going well. Sam and Dean sent me over to make sure you're ok."
"Don't they have service?" You asked jokingly as you put your food onto a plate, "Well, they did go to Appalachia part of the US. Would you like something to eat?"
"I'm fine, thank you, (Y/N). I also came to talk to you."
"Alright, I'm listening." You finally turned around to look at him and saw that he was holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers. You smiled as he walked up to you and handed you the flowers.
"Sam told me it was an appropriate choice. He seemed to be the only one who enjoyed what I was asking."
"Dean's just trying to watch out for me, you know that I mean at least you should, I'm his baby sister."
You brought the flowers up to your nose and smelled them.
"I've liked you for a while, (Y/N)," Cas told you.
"I've liked you too, Cas, but how exactly did you tell Dean?"
"I told him that I wanted a way to show my affection to you and he didn't like it," Cas said in a stern voice as you laughed. "But he did manage to give in and tell me some advice."
"Yeah? What kind?"
"He told me that you were fond of pickup lines and told me to ask if I was in heaven?"
You let out a laugh, "Well, luckily Sam was there to help. Just because you're really great friends with Dean and he gets a lot of ladies doesn't mean that you should listen to him."
"I believe I should go back and help them with their investigation."
Your smile fell as you lowered your flowers. "Oh, ok. Stay safe, ok?"
"Maybe we can go on a date after this?" Cas asked, making your smile return.
"I'd love to, Cas. Now you better go back to Sam and Dean before they both beat your ass for leaving."
"Goodbye, (Y/N)," he said calmly before leaving. You waited a minute and went to grab your phone and called Charlie while still holding the flowers.
"Hey, Charlie, you'd never believe what just happened!"
