I wrote the last chapter from a Will Smith movie called '7 Pounds.'
Anyways, it's about a workaholic who was once in love but had caused seven people to get into a car wreck and die. The movies opening line is.
"God created the world in seven days, and in seven seconds... I shattered mine."
It's a really sad movie, that has a sad happily ever after. He got what he wanted in the end but in another way.

A life-shattering secret torments Ben Thomas (Will Smith). In order to find redemption, he sets out to change the lives of seven strangers. Over the course of his journey, he meets and falls in love with a cardiac patient named Emily (Rosario Dawson), and in so doing, complicates his mission.
Anyway's I'll probably rewrite the story or just take it down if it's so confusing.
