Chapter 14: The end of a castle -_-

Valkyries PoV:

"Lyuno I told you to run" I turn around, eyes down and a dark shadow crossed over my face.

I look up at her, blood splattered across my face, eyes dull and lifeless. The serious look on her face is strange considering she has never given any sort of indication of having enough brain function to know what is going on in the world around her.

"Well, I am used to hatred" I shrug, walking past Lyuno, ignoring her yells of protest as I make my way towards the piercing shriek and sound of walls being destroyed, debris falling to the earth.

When I arrive at the source of the sound, I see Kirito and Asuna standing before a command console, a teardrop shaped crystal in their hands, crying like no tomorrow. Normally I would not really care about this kind of thing, but I guess I should put some effort into the terminal before me, after all, it could be the only way to save all the people still in the game.

"Well, lets see if my lack of computers in here has affected my power" I murmur to myself, cracking my fingers and walking up to the console, putting all ten fingers onto the keyboard and typing at the speed of light, my eyes glowing a bright blue as I sync my mind to that of the computers mainframe, breaking through the various firewalls built around the SaO mainframe, avoiding all counterattack that the artificial intelligence designated to fight hacking can throw at me, smirking as I realize Kayaba did not plan for someone like me to hack from within the system.

The process does not take long at all, smashing ten keys at once to complete my task of finding the names linked with all of the profiles, showing their in-game names and there real world names, settling on the name akihiko kayaba, suddenly everything makes sense and I set off, equipping six swords at once onto my back, the weight is bearable due to my maxed out level capacity, heading straight for the knights of the blood oath main headquarters to find that bastard heathcliff.

*Time Skip: The Time Taken To Get To The HeadQuarters*

"Come out here Heathcliff, I think we have a little something to talk about" I shout out loud, amplifying my voice for the whole area to hear.

"You should know an assault on the kings castle can cause you a lot of pain, little girl" a voice whispers inside of my head, Knights of the blood oath soldiers piling out of the place, surrounding me, only increasing my delight. I have not had a good kill in a long time.

"You should all leave right now, before you end up becoming unnecessary casualties in a fight where your interference means absolutely nothing" I yell to the people surrounding, noticing some of them shaking, they know this is suicide.

One by one, soldiers walk away, the second the first one left was the second the rest start to file out, leaving heathcliff alone standing before me.

"You should know by now Heathcliff, humans are worthless creatures that will always run and cower away when there is the slightest hint of trouble. Its always been that way, why do you think that in a game, it would be anything different?" I ask him, quietly enough so nobody else other than us can hear.

"I refuse to believe that the entirety of humanity is like that, not now not ever" He murmurs, appearing to be deep in thought.

"Cut the crap, I know who you really are, Kayaba. I told you I would be the one to lay you down and end this scheme of yours, it appears that my promise is coming true, does it not?" I chuckle, dropping a sword onto the ground, taking slow steps towards him, gradually increasing as I move.

"This is your end I see, Valkyrie Rose" he sighs, walking casually towards me, clearly underestimating the threat that is coming. "And I always thought that Kirito would be the one to figure me out" He continues, trying to piss me off, which won't work.

Without saying another word, i flash towards him, standing an inch away within a second, slashing my sword against his shield and firing a bullet at the same time, knocking him back and skimming his cheek. Without ceasing my assault, I swing faster and faster, the satisfying clack of sword against shield overwhelming the circle we are in. I dodge a blow by jumping behind him and I drop a sword there, then sidestepping to the side I drop another on his left before jumping over him to his right, making sure he is now standing in the center of a square made by my swords. Smirking as he has not realized what is going to happen.

"Looks like this is the end for you, Kayaba" I yell out for all those in the clearing, ignoring the startled gasps as I lunge forward, moving around his sword and up into the air with a jump, bringing my sword straight down onto his shield. Concentrating as hard as I can, i pick the sword up around him using my powers, slashing at him form all angles with five swords, backing him into a corner, relishing his grunts of pain as his body slowly gets more and more covered with the pix-elated cuts.

"You forget I am the game master, I am an immortal object!" he yells, laughing like a mad man. This only makes my smirk increase.

"See here is the thing, I killed an immortal object yesterday, and the A.I gave me a special gift, this sword" I laugh, pulling out "Bane of The Immortal" and slashing it across his chest, nullifying his immortality. The surprised look on his face is somewhat surprising.

"Goodbye, you prick" I laugh, stabbing the sword straight through his forehead, letting his carcass drop to the floor. People start disappearing, clearly being signed out of the game, but I am surprised to find that I am not disappearing, I am still here, looking up at a dark cloud in the sky, a light breaking through shining down upon me.

"You are indeed a hero in this world, how do you feel about being one in others" an eerie echo's around me, before the hand swiftly reaches down and drags me against my will into a swirling black vortex, no idea where it leads.
