"Do you want a roommate? 'Cause we have a friend who still lives with his parents. He's just now going to college though, so maybe it would be best for him to stay at home. But we could always ask. His name is Jungkook, and he-"

"No thank you." Yoongi interrupted Taehyung, shaking his head. "I appreciate the offer, but I think I'm okay on my own for now. Though I might need one in the future. I'd rather have a roommate I'm close to though." He explained himself as he unpacked the last box for his bedroom.

Hoseok and Taehyung had helped him unpack his whole apartment. It took them a couple hours, but they got it all done since they didn't slack off. Yoongi liked having their company and could see the three hanging out again in the near future since they were neighbors and all.

"Ah, I see. You're waiting until your girlfriend is ready to move in with you." Hoseok stated matter of factly.

"Girlfriend?" Yoongi laughed. "Funny, I don't have one."

"Then you're waiting for your future girlfriend?" Hoseok questioned.

"I'm gay." He said nonchalantly, shrugging it off as if it were a well known fact. He hoped their opinion of him wouldn't change.

"Dude, really? So are we."

"Oh? You are? That's cool." Yoongi smiled, happy to know he had found two others who understood him. Then he pieced together why the two were roommates and realization reflected upon his features. "So you guys are like, together then, right?" He asked the two.

Taehyung immediately went red and shouted a loud, "No."

"What he said." Hoseok pointed at Tae before turning to face the other direction.

"Really? I would've thought you two... You just seem to flow together so well, it would make sense to me."

"Yeah, you say that, but try living with this maniac." Tae chuckled.

"I'm a maniac? That's coming from you?"

"Yes. You're completely insane in the brain."

"Excuse me-"

"Bickering like an old married couple, cute." Yoongi teased. He didn't know if he was overstepping boundaries though, since they had just met that day, but he hoped it was okay. He felt comfortable enough around them to crack some jokes.

"Shut up." Tae threw a pillow at Yoongi.

"I'm just saying." Yoongi threw his pillow back at him.

"What time is it?" Hoseok suddenly wondered, pulling out his phone to check. "It's only seven, so we can still stick around if you don't mind?"

"Sure." Yoongi smiled, happy that the two actually wanted to stay with him.

"Do you have cable yet?"

"Sadly, no." Yoongi sighed. "But I will in a week along with wifi."

"I guess we'll have to have fun the old fashioned way." Tae grinned.

"Old fashioned way?" Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows, a bit confused.

"I didn't see any board games when we were unpacking, so I guess I'll go get the ones Tae and I have."

"Bring Pictionary!" Tae paused. "Oh, and Headbands!"

Hoseok stood up and began walking out the apartment. "I'll be right back."

--------

Yoongi was so glad that he didn't have to go into work the next day. Hoseok and Taehyung had over welcomed their stay until three in the morning. Time seemed to fly by as they literally played over ten board games. Monopoly lasted the longest. It went on for two hours before both Hoseok and Taehyung went bankrupt, causing Yoongi to dominate the game board and win.

Yoongi began to question if this was what actual friendship felt like. His friends from college were never like this. Although his neighbors were obnoxious and loud, he enjoyed their company.

He woke up around one in the afternoon that day and dragged himself out of bed to get ready for the day. He was going to take the subway downtown in order to practice and get used to this form of public transportation. This also gave him a chance to explore the city, as he had never really taken the time to actually go there and seriously take a look at things, go site seeing, visit all the entertainment hotspots. He asked Tae and Hoseok how to get there the night before and they told him that he had to take the C train and transfer to the F train.

Since Yoongi was going out in public, he decided that he should dress nicely and not in his usual slobbish attire used to sleep. Off came the bleach stained shirt and sweat pants, soon replaced with jeans and a nice black t shirt with a jacket over it along with a beanie. He felt that this was enough and left his apartment, locking up.

Before going to the train station, he stopped for a cup of coffee to wake himself up a bit more since he was never one to wake up without the fuel of caffeine. He needed it. It was the only way he could survive in this world, otherwise he'd drift off to sleep every five minutes. He got a medium size cup, feeling like he wasn't desperate enough for his usual large cup. He would be able survive with just that much.

He also stopped by an atm. He always felt more comfortable with cash on him rather than just his credit card, though many disagreed with him for that. Carrying cash around was most definitely not safe, but he just preferred it over a card.

Yoongi filled his subway card with two rides at the counter and swiped it when he got to the entrance, allowing him to enter the subway and down into the many tracks. He went down the path for the C train and waited, remembering that this was the train he took the day before to get to his apartment. It would also be the train he had to take to work, according to Hoseok and Taehyung. The C train led to a lot of places, Yoongi thought.

The train arrived not too long afterwards, and Yoongi got on, glad to find that a seat was open. He sat down, an older woman next to him. She minded her own business so Yoongi did too.

Yoongi had to wait about fifteen or so minutes till his stop came up, so he popped an earbud in, deciding to let music let the time drive by faster. He eventually closed his eyes, leaning his head against the wall behind him after taking a sip from his coffee. He made sure to pay attention to the announcements though, not wanting to miss his stop, because if he did, he wouldn't know what to do and would probably end up panicking and searching for an alternative route online.

The train came to a stop just as the first song Yoongi was listening to came to an end.

Along with the sound of the footsteps from other people came the sound of a familiar voice.

Yoongi's eyes shot open and he paused his music just as the second song on his playlist started. His searched frantically for the one with the voice he loved oh so much.

His eyes made contact with the boy from yesterday.

He almost didn't believe it at first, but once the boy started singing, he knew it was him.

He wondered how it was possible, but that thought quickly drifted away as his mind was overtaken by the most beautiful voice he had ever heard.

It was better than any of his favorite artists and any of his favorite tracks combined. His playlist suddenly felt extremely dull, and he needed to fill it up with songs sung by this voice instead.
