The two finished their shaved ice and left the little stop, proceeding onward with their walk. Jimin decided he would just stay quiet, continuing his observations on the older. He noticed the way he parted his bangs and the way the light reflected on his eyes ever so brightly. He also noticed the way he held his camera tightly in his grasp, as if someone were going to take away from him. He noticed how he hummed to himself, needing some type of music to keep him going when it was quiet. He wanted to know more about him, he wanted to know why.

"My favorite sculpture is coming up soon." He finally spoke up after a while, the two glancing at each other from time to time.

"Ah, really?" Yoongi flashed him a smile, wondering what it could be.

Jimin hummed in response with a nod of his head.

Curiosity got the best of Yoongi, so he had to ask instead of waiting. "What is it?"

Jimin shrugged.

"You don't want to tell me? Is it some kind of surprise? How cheesy." He scoffed, laughing.

"No." Jimin chuckled with a roll of his eyes. "It's abstract. So you can interpret it any way you want. I don't want to tell you what I see it as before you tell me what you think of it. Otherwise, you'd just see what I see and that's no fun at all."

Yoongi didn't reply.

It was about another five minutes when the two finally got to the checkpoint, Jimin stopping in his spot and pulling Yoongi's arm before he could walk ahead.

"There it is." He pointed to it, getting closer with a smile on his face.

It was a dainty structure that looked like it could barely stay up by itself; however, it somehow managed to do so. It grew more meticulous in detail the farther up one were to look. The sight was really intense and complex, and all too intriguing at the same time. Layers upon layers stacked upon each other, all on edge.

"What's the first thing you think of?" Jimin questioned as he watched Yoongi study the sculpture for a while.

Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows, trying to come up with an explanation. His face became much more relaxed when he found the perfect word to describe his thoughts. "Life."

"Life? That's lame. You can do better." Jimin teased, poking his side.

"Then, growth perhaps?"

"Do explain."

"Well, everything starts off so simple, but as time goes on and as the sculpture moves up, things become more and more complicated. That's what growing up is. You start off young and innocent, but the more you learn, the more tainted you become– the more expectations people have of you, the more effort you have to put in. From one stage to the next, I think that's what this is trying to tell me." He elucidated, looking towards Jimin to see his reaction.

"Alright, that wasn't so lame." He smiled. "Thank you for sharing your insight with me."

"What do you see?" He ignored his comment, extremely curious about what Jimin had to say about it. He wanted to know why it was his favorite.

Jimin waited a few moments before replying. "Hope."

"Hope? That's lame. You can do better." Yoongi mocked, laughing again.

"Ah, shut up." Jimin laughed along. "Ambition, then?"

"Do explain."

"No matter how difficult any situation may be, we all grasp onto that last strand of hope, of possibility that anything can change. It can be something simple, like how it starts at the bottom of the sculpture; or it can be something more dire, like the top. Ambition is hope and desire for a chance– we all strive for the outcome we yearn for the most. Whether the consequences be in favor of good or bad, ambition will always be something that exists when we're standing at the edge of a cliff between reality and what could happen, wondering if it's possible to survive or not. The structure may look fragile, but look how it stands by itself, its strong. We're all strong or want to become strong and that's because we have ambition. It represents a fight. A fight for what we want, what we need so desperately to happen. We want so badly to succeed or win, yet, will we ever get what we fight so hard for? The stress adds up, the ambition either adds to it or relieves it. It's truly a battle, at least, that's what I perceive it to be." He ended it with a small shrug, biting at the inside of his cheeks.

Yoongi didn't have any words. He wanted to say what he thought, but he was left speechless. He wondered how many times Jimin thought of that, how many times Jimin has come to see this statue, how many times has Jimin had this battle. What made him have so much ambition? Was it causing him stress or relief? He wanted to know, but, he'd only just met him and highly doubted he would reveal these things to him. Although he was a very open person, there was a limit. Yoongi could be patient for once.

"It's time for me to go." Jimin spoke up after a couple minutes of silence.

"Huh? You're ditching me already?" Yoongi scrunched up his nose, smiling.

"I've achieved my goal for today, thanks to ambition." He grinned.

"And what was that goal?"

"To woo you, and I seem to have done so. You don't mind if I'm a bit selfish, right?"

"What do you mean?" Yoongi tilted his head, confused.

"Nevermind." His grin faltered for a second before returning immediately. "I did woo you though, right?"

"I guess. You made me want to ask a lot of questions."

"I got you wanting to speak, even better." His smile only grew.

"Let me have your number." Yoongi asked– well, more like demanded.

"Nope." Jimin shook his head.

"What? Why not?"

"I don't own a cell phone." He admitted sheepishly.

"Then how am I supposed to get in contact with you? I can give you my number and you can call me from a landline?"

"I don't have any access to a phone at all, sorry. We'll meet again, I promise. You can find me on the subway. I always ride the same trains." Jimin bit his lip.

"That isn't convenient." Yoongi frowned, in complete disbelief.

"Again, I apologize. But I'll make it up to you next time, alright? Another adventure just you and me."

"Are you asking me out on a date?" Yoongi questioned, trying his best to keep the frown on his face.

"Maybe." Jimin nudged him. "I'll see you on our next date then, Yoongi." He spun on his heel to start walking away.

"Wait, so this was a date?" He raised an eyebrow, feeling a tug at his cheeks.

Jimin turned back around to face him. "If you want it to be, I don't mind. You'll get to brag about it to all your friends. Oh I met the most amazing guy today and he took me to–"

"Enough." Yoongi laughed, punching his arm playfully. "Alright, then this was a date."

"A date with a stranger you just met?"

"I don't see anything too wrong with that." Yoongi pondered over it. If the stranger was like Jimin, then it was okay.

"Hm, okay. Well then I had fun, please take care of me. See you soon?"

Yoongi nodded in response, and Jimin was off, walking down the flight of stairs nearby that led back down to the streets of the city.

The silver haired boy sighed, bringing his camera up to his eye to snap a couple pictures of the sculpture.

Ambition.

Putting his camera away, he decided he would just go home and call it a day.

And that's when it hit him.

"I have no idea where I am, Park Jimin get back here!"
