Before he knew it, weeks were passing by swiftly, his thoughts of the beautiful raven haired boy slipping away along with the time. Yoongi found himself immersed in his job and newly found friendship with his neighbors.
The trio was together practically every time they were free and had nothing to do but indulge in each other's company. Yoongi found himself telling Hoseok and Tae things he had never even spoken out loud before. He truly appreciated the two, so grateful to have people like them in his life after going through all these years without genuine friends. They made his apartment feel more like home and with them around, he didn't feel the need for a roommate.
Yoongi was well acclimated with the Subway now, always subconsciously aware with what stop he needed to get off at. He even let himself get distracted, even allowed himself to doze off from time to time. It was easy for him to become instantly alert when his stop approached now.
When he sat behind at his desk at work, he began his usual routine- setting up schedules and contacting managers. He'd become quite accustomed to the job, but of course that didn't mean he didn't have stressful days. One particular Friday, there was a scheduling mishap– a double booking for the same day at the same venue in which Yoongi was left to figure out on his own since there was an even bigger problem his seniors were dealing with.
As soon as he exited the building that day, he let out a heavy sigh of relief. He didn't want to go home just yet, so he decided that he would find something to do.
Well, with a little help.
Yoongi: hey you guys
He texted the group chat, considering the fact that he had absolutely no idea what to do for fun aside from wandering the streets, but he wasn't in the mood for that so late at night, he wanted a set destination.
Hoseok: whas good boi
Yoongi: it's 9 & the night is still young
Yoongi: im tryna get lit
Hoseok: thats illegal hyung but I know a guy
Yoongi: not that kind of lit hobi
Hoseok: o
Hoseok: well this is awkward
Yoongi: ignoring your previous comment
Yoongi: any suggestions?
Hoseok: well we still haven't gone to karaoke @tae's
Tae: HUH
Tae: YOU GUYS ARE COMING???
Tae: I'LL TAKE MY BREAK WHEN YOU GET HERE
Yoongi: send me the address again?
Tae: okie dokie
When he got the address, he plugged it in his train app, studying which trains he needed to take before nodding to himself and beginning to make his way to the subway. With it being half past nine, there weren't many people on the train and Yoongi found himself in an almost empty car if it weren't for a woman to his far right. But that woman got off at the next stop leaving Yoongi alone with his thoughts.
It wasn't until then that it hit him, and he wondered what the boy was up to. Was he still singing and going around with his hat for tips? He smiled sadly, turning up the volume of the music blaring through his headphones. But, as quickly as the thought of the boy had entered his mind, it was gone twice as fast. He soon found himself humming along to the song that was now playing, his mind set on how he was about to embarrass himself in front of his friends. Yoongi wasn't a singer, not by a long shot. Rap on the other hand was a completely different story. But people don't go to karaoke to spit some fire.
When he finally arrived, he entered the small building, looking around to figure out where he needed to go. It was extremely quiet and the room was deserted. He was confused, taking out his phone to ask Tae if he was at the right place but then he saw a sign. It was pointing to his right and led to a staircase going down. Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows, thinking about how this would go in a movie. He'd go down the staircase expecting the best and be met with sudden death.
So, him being the dumb lead character that he was, instead of turning around and aborting immediately, he descended down the stairs. He rolled his eyes at himself for being so dramatic when he was met with bright colors and neon lights. He was making his way to the counter when someone shouted his name, startling him. He turned around to find Hoseok shuffling down the stairs and rushing towards him.
"Thanks for scaring the living shit out of me." He chuckled while clutching his chest.
"Anytime! Have you seen Tae yet?" The younger questioned.
"No, I just got here myself." And with that, Hoseok texted Taehyung to find out where he was. Tae responded that he'd be out in a couple minutes, so the two waited for him, paying for the room they were renting out for the next two hours.
Taehyung showed up with a huge boxy grin on his face, embracing both Yoongi and Hoseok in greeting. "I'm so excited that you guys are here!"
"I can't say the same." Yoongi grimaced, thinking about how he was going to wake up with no voice the next day.
"Oh hush, you've gotta let loose Hyung! Don't you know how to be spontaneous?" Tae replied, sticking his tongue out at him childishly to which Yoongi paused for a moment before shrugging. That certainly hit him, and suddenly, he was determined to let go.
"C'mon, I'm ready to sing my heart out to Ring Ding Dong." Hoseok intervened, grabbing the others by their arms and dragging them towards their room.
Big Bang, Shinee, Super Junior, SNSD, 2NE1, and a couple drinks later, the three were yelling the lyrics of Orange Caramel's Catallena into their mics, Hoseok even breaking out the choreography.

If you had asked Jimin two years ago what he'd be doing with his life at this moment in time, it wouldn't be this.
But, there he was, taking out the trash for some random restaurant only to be paid petty cash after the fact. Of course he'd take anything over nothing at all. He was thankful they even let him do something at the least, but even he thought he deserved better than this.
He huffed, throwing the bags into the dumpster and scrunching up his nose at the smell. He rushed back inside the warmth of the restaurant with the cold nipping at his nose only to be scolded for leaving tracks on the floor with his shoes. They made him clean it which was understandable, but afterwards they told him he was no longer needed and sent him off with the few won he was able to earn.
So, Jimin set out to find any other place desperate for some help. However, it was already getting late and the busy hours were pretty much over. He thought he should just call it a night and get back to singing on the trains for the last few hours till dark.
He had a couple more days until the month was over and he was running short on money once again for the third month in a row. He'd have to work even harder for the remaining days, even if it required him getting little to no sleep and no food to eat. He'd have to try.
He wouldn't let Jihyun know he was struggling, he wouldn't allow him to worry. He wanted his younger brother to focus on his studies and have fun being young, a luxury Jimin just didn't have. He was left with responsibilities when his parents died. He had failed for himself, but for Jihyun, Jimin gave his all.
