Chapter 6

**Jc's POV**

***2 weeks later****

I haven't talked to Cali seance I confessed my love too her at the airport, and I miss her like crazy! I've only spoken with Kian, Ricky and Connor and I feel like they're all hiding something from me. I don't know, it's probably nothing and I'm being paranoid. It's good to see my family again seance I haven't seen them in 4 months. But I can't wait to get back to California and see Cali, Kian told me she's living in California now. I think I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend when I get back. I've tried to call her a few times and I text her a lot but I haven't gotten a replied from her. 

It's 10 in the morning and my mom and brother Joe and sister Jaylen are down stares in the kitchen, I guess it's time for my daylie routine.I went down stairs, ate breakfast. I texted Cali then I went upstairs to have a shower. I got out got dressed into a navy blue shirt and basket ball shorts and called Kian to see how he was doing. 

(phone conversation) 

"Hey Kian!" I yelled into the phone.

"Hey Jc, how's it going?" Kian replied in a happy tone.

"I'm alright how about you?" I asked trying to get to what I actually wanted to ask him.

" I'm great. " He finally said

"So how's Cali? I've been texting her and trying to call her but she hasn't responded. " I said softly.

" Cali, she's fine. She was walking down the stairs and her phone slipped out of her hand and smashed. So she hasn't had a phone for a while. She got a new one I'll text you the number." Kian said all in one breath.

"Thanks Kin da bean. " 

" No problem bro!" 

" Can I ask you something? " I asked Kian.

" Ok"

" Do you think Cali would say yes to being my girlfriend? " I asked nervously.

the line went silent for about 30 seconds

" ummm Jc ummm well.... " 

" WHAT?!?!!?!??" I asked confused. 

" Cali's going out with, Sam.. " Kian said slowly.

" I've got to go. " I said hanging up.

I through my phone at the wall but it didn't brake. I should have known that she would go out with Sam when I left! I had tears running down my face then I heard that I got a message on my phone. I got up and cheeked it.

Here's her number: 12345678910. Call her Jc. She misses you. 

I picked up my phone and dialed the number. ringring......

"Hello?" it felt so good to hear her voice again.

" Hey Cali, it's Jc." I said trying to act normal

" Oh my gosh! Jc, we haven't talked in forever! " She said, I could tell she actually missed me. 

" So how are things?" I asked really wanting to know.

" Everything's great! I've moved to California and I'm shearing an apartment with Andrea and Jenn." She said with happiness in her voice.

" So. Ummmmmm.... I heard you where dating, Sam.. " I said trying to act fine. 

" Yeah, umm.... "

" It's alright Cali. I told you how I felt about you at the airport, and that is how I feel. But I can't stop the way you feel about Sam. we can just be friends." I said, my heart broke as I said it and I was in much pain.
