Chapter 18

**Jenn's POV**

I open my eyes slowly, my vision is blurry. It only took two seconds for my vision to go clear again. I looked around to see a normal looking home, a little small but it looks normal. I look down to see my hands and feet tied with duct tape. I rolled my eyes at how cheep this person was, probably couldn't even afford the rope to tie me up. I tried to say something but then I realized that my mouth was covered with duct tape to. This is so stupid, at this point I wasn't even scared. I knew exactly who it was and she doesn't scare me at all. One time in P.E. we where doing kick boxing and I won against her easily. "Great, your awake." She said from behind me. I quickly turned my head to see Alex with the black hoodie on. She came around to me and ripped the tape off of my mouth. I cringed, it hurt like hell. "What hell are you doing?!?! Why did you kidnap me and take me here! Wait where are we!" I shout all in one breath. All my emotions where streaming around my body, I was angry, confused, pissed off, scared. "Calm down Jenn." She said rolling her eyes. "Then tell me!" I snapped at her. "We're in the house I'm renting while I'm here in LA and I bought you here as bait so I can kill Cali." She said like she was discussing the weather. "You aren't going to hurt me Alex, we where best friends when we where 9. I know you and you aren't like this." I said trying to make her reconsider. "Actually Jenn. You don't know me at all. I've changed a lot sense I was 9." She says and sits down in a chair across from me. "Why are you doing this Alex?!? It's not Cali's fault that Sam doesn't like you." I said to her. Her face turned sourer. She took a deep breath. "Jenn, you know how much I wanted to go out with Sam. Sense day one I had the biggest crush on him, when he finally asked me out it was the best day of my life! We went out for about two years and then I had to move to Miami so then we had to break up! Then when he finally came to visit me i find out he's already moved on and found another girl! It kinda gets to you, you know. Freakin Cali with her pink hair and perfect tan and all, she just makes me want to kill her." She said, she wouldn't stop raving on. I kind of tuned out. "You aren't going to touch Cali, non of us will let you!" I shouted at her. "Jenn, don't forget I can just slit your throat right now. It would defiantly get Cali's attention." She said walking away. I huffed and rolled my eyes. 

A couple minutes later Alex comes back with her phone in her hand and a knife in the other. "What are you doing?" I asked with my eyes widening. "Well I need to provoke her somehow." She says stopping in front of me. I heard the camera on her phone start. "Hey Cali, and the rest of your stupid friends. I have jenn here. Say hi Jenn." She said pointing the camera at me. I laughed, she was so freakin stupid. "Cali, I'm going to make you a deal. Meet me in the back ally of the mall at 1 Am tonight and I won't kill her." She said looking at her camera on the phone. My heart began to race. "Cali! Don't go! Please! I'll be fine!" I shouted. I didn't want her it risk her life for me. "Oh, and just so you know I'm not lying about killer her." She said walking up to me. I couldn't move sense I was taped to the chair. She got the knife and quickly cut to side of my cheek causing me to scream. She then turned her video of and sent it. "Cali won't do it Alex." I said as the blood from my cheek started at run down hitting my leg. "I think she will." She said and walked out of the room. 

**Cali's POV**

"Hey guys, come look at this!" I yell to Jc, Connor, Kian and Ricky. They all come in and sit next to me in the lounge room. "Look at this funny vine I found." I said pulling out my phone and showing them the random 7 second video. "That is so weird." Kian said laughing. "Yeah I know." I said getting up. "So where has Jenn gone?" Ricky asked us. "I honestly don't know." I say looking at the floor. "I'm getting worried, it's been 2 hours and she isn't back." Connor added. "Maybe we should go look for her." Jc says. "Yeah, I'll help when I get Andrea." Kian says taking an Arizona out of the fridge. Oh, by the way Andrea's coming home. She badly wanted to get out of there and the doctors said she could but she needs 24 hour assistance, you know with her leg and all. "I going to get her down, see ya guys. Good luck finding Jenn." Kian says walking out the door. "Bye." I shout before the door closed. Ricky, Connor, Jc and I crowd around the bench and decide where we're going to search for her. As Jc was talking my phone went off. I took it out and looked at it. "Guys... It's a video from a blocked number." I say showing them. "Play it." Connor said in a high pitched voice behind me. I pressed play and held my breath. "Hey Cali, and the rest of your stupid friends." Alex said in the video. "We're not stupid.." Connor said under his breath. Ricky shhhed him. "I have Jenn here." Alex said as she pointed to Jenn, she was all tied up. I quickly put the put the phone down and walked to the other side of the kitchen with tears forming. Jc picked up the phone so the three of them could watch what she had to say. "Cali, I'm going to make a deal with you. Meet me in the ally behind the mall at 1 AM tonight. If you don't, I'll kill Jenn." Alex said in her twisted voice making me cry. Jc tuned to me with his eyes widened and mouth gaped open. Ricky had a tear coming down his cheek and Connor's hands where over his mouth. "Oh and just so you know I'm not lying about killing her." I heard her say. I walked over to my phone that Jc was holding so I could see. Alex got a knife and cut Jenn's cheek making her scream. I was now full on crying and Jc put the phone down and ran over to me, getting me in his arms. "I have to go and meet her so I get get Jenn back." I stutter over my tears. "No way in hell are you going Cali." Jc said holding me tightly. "I'm not going to let you." He said. I looked up to see Connor and Ricky standing in front me me and Jc and look like they're about to cry. "Cali, we promise we'll get her back. But risking another life isn't going to help." Connor choked out. "Didn't you hear what she said?!!? If I don't get she's going to kill her!" I shouted at him. I got up and hugged Connor. "Sorry for yelling, but I can't let her die." I said still hugging him. "It's ok." He said back. I pulled away and took a deep breath. "Non of this is even your fault Cali." Ricky said wiping a loos tear. "It is my fault. I fell in love with the wrong person." I said looking to the floor. 

It's 11 PM now and Rick and Connor are both in their rooms. Kian and Andrea are home now but they're just in Kian's room cuddling. I didn't want to tell them about what happened with Jenn. I don't want to stress them out. Jc and I are in his room cuddling. "I'm getting tired, do you want to go to sleep?" I asked him as I get  up. "Ok." He replied. I turn out the light and get into bed with him. "So you aren't aloud to go anywhere tonight." Jc says to me looking into my eyes. I nod my head and let him cuddle up to me. As much as it hurts me to say it, this might be the last time I ever see him. I hug him tightly and he kisses me passionately. "I love you so much Jc." I say feeling like I might cry. Oh no, stay strong Cali I say to myself in my head. "I love you more beautiful." He says putting resting his chin on top of my head. I soon drifted to sleep in his arms. 

**Jc's POV**

I wake up to be facing the wall. The sense of warmth and comfort is gone. I need Cali, I think to myself. I turn around to find nothing but empty sheets. The thoughts run through my head of her going to meet with Alex. I take a second look at the empty space where Cali should be and see a note, and it said;

Dear Justin, I love you so much and I feel so bad for not telling you I was leave. But you and I both know you wouldn't let me do this. Please understand that it was my mistake from the beginning and it's stupid just to think that you guys are getting hurt because of me. It was you all along Jc, you where the one I was meant to be with from the start. You are my world Jc Caylen and if anything ever happened to you I would never be able to forgive myself, which is why I'm ending this. Please, never forget how much I love you. Love, Cali. <3 

I held the note to my chest as I be gain to cry, everything seemed to not matter. Everything in life didn't mean a thing. All I could think about is Cali. She's my everything and she's sacrificing her own life right now! HOW THE HELL CAN I STILL BE STANDING HERE!!!! I run into the kitchen and grab the keys sand drive to where Cali's meeting Alex.
