Chapter 15

I start breathing faster and deeper. "I swear.... She was here Connor!!" I say in shock. "It's ok sweet heart, clam down. I believe you. Are you ok?" He asked bringing me closer to his body to comfort me. "I'm ok." I say putting my hand on his chest. "I won't let anyone hurt you, I promise." He said taking my hand and leading me up to his bedroom. We went in and he locked the door. "What are we going to do about her?!?" I asked sitting on his bed. Connor put the song Sweater Weather on by The Neighborhood. "Darling, that's a problem for tomorrow. Just know that I'm not going to let anything happen to you again." He said walking up to me and holding me in his arms. His eyes locked on mine I couldn't say anything, his beautiful green eyes had me in a trance. I managed to nod my head. He slowly put his lips on mine and kissed passionately. This kiss made me crazy, he's just so perfect. For the rest of the night we ended up making out. 

** Cali's POV ** 

*** The next morning ***

Everything was black, I could feel the fresh Summer wind hitting my cheeks. The sound of birds filled my ears and made me smile. I could feel the warm raise of the sun beaming down on my face and neck as I opened my eyes. I glanced over and Jc was gone. I sat up quickly in panic. Did he leave me?!?! Where did he go and why didn't he wake me up and tell me! I thought to myself. "Are you ok?" I heard a voice say from behind me. "Jc?" I asked. "Yeah?" He said getting in the back with me. "I thought you left me." I said embarrassed. "I would never leave you beautiful." He said looking into my eyes with his heart melting smile. I hugged him and he kissed my head. "Now get up, we're going on an adventure!" He said jumping off the back. 

I got dressed and had an apple that I packed of breakfast. "Lets go." Jc said taking my hand. We where walking for about half an hour and we came to a waterfall. "This is so beautiful." I say admiring it. "It sure is." Jc said looking over at me smiling. Afterwards we headed back and packed up everything and headed back onto the high way. "So where are we going now?" I asked tapping my finger to the song that was playing. "I was thinking of stopping at a campsite and sleeping there." He said keeping his eyes on the road. "Ok, how long away is that?" I asked changing the song to riptide. "Three or four hours." He said looking at me and flashing me a heart warming smile. I smiled back and giggled. "ok!" I said excitedly. I starred out the open window listening to the song, looking out to the trees we where passing. I turned my head and looked at Jc. I was so lucky to have him, he's funny, drop death gorgeous, has the best personalty and best of all he loves me for me. I couldn't ask for anything more. Jc looked over at me and smiled. "I love you Cali." He said holding my hand and kissing it. "I love you too Jc." I replied. I couldn't stop smiling. "This car trip might take a while so you better have so good songs prepared." He said smiling at watching the road. "Don't worry, I do." I say changing the song again. 

*** 3 hours later ***

We've been driving for ages it feels. I havn't really been keeping track of the time though. Jc and I have been having a rock out session in the car, it's so much fun! "We're here!" Jc says turning into the campsite. "Yay!" I say turning off the music. The campsite was so beautiful. It was in the middle of a forest. There where bike paths around that Jc and I could ride our Penny boards on! It wasn't very busy, there where only 3 other groups of people here. The car came to a stop and we got out. "Here we are! So what do you want to do princess?" Jc asked shutting the door. I quickly cheeked  my phone. It was only 2 PM. "How about lets go for a penny board ride!" I said taking mine from the back seat. "Good idea!" Jc said getting his. I was wearing dark blue high wasted shorts, a soft grey knitted sweater and white low cut converse. My long light pink hair flying everywhere on the wind, I brushed it out of my face and tucked it behind my ears. Jc was hears grey sweatpants, a blue and white baseball shirt and his leopard pint Vanz. He walked over to me and kissed my jawline before taking my hand. "Lets go." He said leading me the path we would be riding on. I put my board down on the ground and started to skate. Jc was a little bit ahead of me but he kept slowing down so that we would be together. "Sorry I'm so bad at this." I say looking at the ground. "Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it eventually." He said taking my hand. We where riding and holding hands at the same time, it was one of the cute things I've always wanted to do if I had a boyfriend. His grip kept me balanced and focused on what I was doing. I felt like was was getting better and better with him by my side. We rid up a large hill and looked down the other side to see a bridge going over a small stream. "I'll race you to the bridge!" Jc said staking down the hill trying to beat me. "It's on!" I said pushing off. The sky was now overcast and I had low expectations for the weather to come. I knew it was going to rain sometime soon. I snapped back to reality to look at the hill I was racing Jc down. There was a huge rock right in front of me and I couldn't move or turn, it was like my body got paralyzed. Before I knew it I smashed hard onto the pavement.
