Chapter 14

I wake up to my phone buzzing beside my bed. It was 5 in the morning and I had one of the worst nights of my life.. Who the hell would be calling me at 5 in the morning!?! I pick up my phone to see Jc's icon. The only person I would gladly talk to at 5 in the morning. 

(phone conversation)

Jc: Morning beautiful.

Cali: Moring 

Jc: I'm going to take you away today, I'll be there in an hour to pick you up.

Cali: Alright, what do you have planed? 

Jc: Something special to take your mined off things princess. 

Cali: Thanks Jc, see you soon 

Jc: Ok, love you.

Cali: Love you too. 

*hangs up phone*

I get up and run a hot shower. I stand under the steaming water washing off my messed up makeup from last night. I wash my light pink hair and get out. I dry my hair and put it in a messy bun, and just put on babylipes. I put on black tights, a dark blue oversized sweater and black high top converse. Jc texted me and told me we would be away for a while so I packed my essentials and some extra clothing then usual. By this time I only had about 10 minutes so I decided to tell Jenn I was going. Andrea didn't come home last night, I'm guessing she was staying with Kian after the fight. I felt so bad especially after he told me he didn't want to hurt me and then he defended me. He's my best friend and I can't believe I did that to him. I tried to keep the gilt I had at the back of my head so that I could try and enjoy the day I have ahead of myself. I walked out of my room and into Jenn's, then I softly shook her to wake her up. "Jenn, wake up." I said trying to get her awake. She sat up and rubbed her eyes. "What is it?" She asked sleepily. "Jc's taking me away for a while." I said sitting on her bed. "Ok Cali, what ever you need to make yourself feel better. Are you alright?" She said. "Not really, but I'm trying to be ok." I say standing up and hearing a knock at the front door. "That's probably Jc." I say looking at her. "Ok bye Cali. I'm going to miss you and don't forget to text  me." She says turning back around to sleep again. "Ok bye." I say exiting her room. I grab all my things and walk downstairs. I open the door to find Jc. "Hello." He said looking at me with a slight smile. "Hey." I say running into his arms. "Ready?" He asked still holding onto each other. "Yes." I say letting go and taking my things. "I'll take those." Jc said picking up my things and putting them into the back of a ute. "What's this for?" I asked with a smile creeping on my face. "You'll fine out." He said kissing my for head. I love it when he does that.  We both sat in the car. "We don't have to go if you don't want to." He said peering over to me. "No, Jc I want to. I need this." I say looking into his eyes. "Alright lets go." He said taking off. I plugged my iphone into the car charging doc and put on the Pure Haroine album by Lorde. 

Although it was only 6 AM I could tell the weather today wouldn't be the best. It was war but the wind was cold and it was really cloudy. Jc had the heater on and it made me sleepy. "Don't you feel like you're going to fall asleep?" I asked him concerned. "No, surprisingly." He said not taking his eyes off the road. "So where are we actually going?" I asked him. "Well, we're going to a lake witch is about a days drive away and heading up north and we'll keep going until you want to go back." He said smiling. "Sounds perfect." I said looking at him. He looked at me and we both smiled. All a sudden I got a text from Kian!
