Chapter 5

Will you be my girlfriend?

I didn't say anything, I was pretty much speechless. With Sam still staring at me I managed to choke out " Uh ummm. " Sam's head dropped to look at the ground. I got up off the swing and walked over to him. He stood up in front of me, I pulled him into a hug and he wrapped his arms lightly around my waist. " Sam " I said braking the silence. " yeah? " He replied quietly. " I'd love to be your girlfriend. " I said pulling out of the hug and looking into his eyes. A bright smile appeared on his face, he picked me up and spun me around. Both of us laughing he put me down. We sat back on the swings and talked for a while. We talked about all the things we didn't know about each other. " So are we going to tell them? " Sam asked me while we where walking back to the house. " Of cores, we can't keep something like this from them. " I said looking ahead. " True, so we're just going to straight up tell them pretty much. " He asked. " Yeah, pretty much. " I said back. Sam took my hand into his. When we got back Sam opened the door with our hands still intertwined, I loved holing his hand it gave me a seance of comfort. We walked into the lounge room to find Kian and Andrea snuggled up on the couch watching a movie. Kian looked up at us and saw us holding hands. " Hey guys, what's going on? " Kians asked us. Andrea looked up from the movie and gave us both a giant smile. " Jenn, Connor, Ricky!!! GET IN HERE! " Andrea yelled out. "So I'm guessing you have some big new for us?" She said with her eyes wide open. I went bright red. Jenn, Connor and Ricky came into the lounge room. " What is it?!? " Ricky asked. everyone looked at us. Sam and I both looked at each other and laughed. " So, Cali and I are now official and she's my girlfriend. " Sam said with a smile looking around at everyone. " Oh my gosh girl!! Congratulations! " Jenn said attacking me with a hug. " Haha thank you. " I said with a warm smile. Kian, Andrea, Jenn ,me and Sam sat on the couch and Connor and Ricky sat on the floor while we watched the movie Easy A, it was super funny! Sam and I hugged through out the movie, he made me feel so calmed and safe. After the movie Jenn, Andrea and Sam went home. before Sam left he gave me a kiss on the cheek, it was so cute. 

It was now 10 PM. Ricky and Kian where down stairs watching Teen Wolf and I'm keeping Connor company while he edits his O2L video. " You and Sam look great together. " Connor said not looking away from his computer screen. " Thanks Con, you and Chelsea look like a great couple. " I replied. " Thanks. She is amazing! " He said finally look away from the screen to look at me for half a second. I just laughed and put one earphone into my ear listening to Tennis Court by Lorde. "So, I'm not trying to ruin you relationship or anything but... what about Jc..? Connor asked quietly. I looked up with my mouth gaped open to see Connor fully turned around looking at me. I took in a deep breath trying not to cry, but tears started to form in my eyes. " Cali... What happened this morning? " Connor asked really concerned. " Please tell me. " he added. " When I woke up this morning, Jc was outside by the pool. I wen't out and asked if he was ok and he said that he was going to miss me and asked me to come with him to the airport. " I said all in one breath with a few tears rolling down my cheeks. " Go on.. " Connor said quietly. " At the airport he hugged me and he told me... He told me that he loved me, and then he walked away to get on the plain but the thing is, at that moment I felt the same way. " I said very slowly with a few more tears. Connor got up and gave me a comforting hug. " Hey, it's all going to be alright. " He said trying to make me feel better. " Do you love Jc now? " Connor asked me. " I honestly don't know how I feel. " I said letting even more tears escape my eyes. " I feel something for Jc. But I know I love Sam. " I said looking at Connor. " It's alright Cali, everything will be okay. As long as you truley do love Sam,  you haven't done anything wrong and you can sort all this out. " Connor said reassuring me. "Are you moving to California? " Connor quickly added changing the topic. " I almost forgot, I need to make a phone call, I'll be right back." I said wiping the tears from my cheeks.

I walked out of Connor's room and started passing around at the top of the stairs. I took out my phone and rang my mother's number. ring ring......... ring ring Hello? I heard on the other line. " Hey mom! " I said loudly into the phone. " Hi honey how are you, how was Kian? " " We're both great! " " Well that's good." "Yeah, I was wondering... if I could maybe... move to California???? " I closed my eyes and scrunched up my face waiting for her to yell at me or say no. " Why? Are you really liking it there?? " She asked me. " Yes!  I'm loving it hear mom! Everything's so laid back and chilled, way better then Texas. " I replied. " Well.... Alright, You are old enough to make you're own decision now." "YAY OH MY GOSH THANK YOU SO MUCH MOMMY YOU'RE THE BEST!!!! " I said yelling into the phone. We talked about all the things like where I was going to stay and about her shipping my things here to California. I also talked to Andrea and Jenn about moving in with them and getting a new apartment. It was all arranged. I ran down the stairs into the lounge room where Kian and Ricky where still watching Teen Wolf. "KIAN RICKY I HAVE AMAZING NEWS!!!!!! " I said shouting at the top of my lounges Connor ran down the stairs, I guess we heard me shout. " What's the amazing news? " Connor asked sitting down next to Ricky on the couch. " I'M ALOUD TO LIVE HERE IN CALIFORNIA!!!! " I said jumping up and down with excitement. Kian jumped up and spun me around into a hug. " This is going to be great! " He said releasing from the hug. We sat down and talked about it. " So where are you going to stay? Here or with Andrea and Jenn? " Kian asked me. " Well there are only 4 bedrooms here that are already taken and I would be in a house full of guys 24/7. So I think I'm going to move in with Andrea and Jenn. " I said in replied. " Far enough! " Kian said laughing. " But you can stay here any time you want, and come over when ever you would like. " Ricky said. " Thanks Ricky. " I said with a smile. "So when would you move in with them? " Connor asked. "In about a week or two. " I said glancing at the three of them. "Well you can stay here until then. " Kian said putting his arm around me. " yeah lucky me! " I said with a giggle. 

After that we all went to bed. I slept on the couch Sam and I slept on last night. It was pretty lonely sleeping down stares in this big house. Although there where 3 other people up stairs it just didn't feel right. I grabbed my phone and started to listen to all the soft slow music I have on there. I listened Riptide over and over again. All it did was make me think of Jc... Why do I keep doing this to myself? I keep having the flash back of the airport. I couldn't take it anymore, I though I was about to break into tears. I grabbed my phone and put on Big Jet Plain, this song was better, no sad memories... yet
