Chapter 27

** Bethany's POV**

I walk into the kitchen with groceries in hand, putting them down on the bench and  outside again to get more out of the car. Once all of them are out of the car and on the bench I start putting them away. "It's ok honey, you don't have to put them away. I'll do it, you go film your YouTube video." My mom says putting the milk in the fridge. "Are you sure?" I ask watching as she packs more things away. "Yeah, I'll be fine." I nod my head and sprint upstairs and into my room. I grab my phone from it's charger and see that I have 2 new missed calls. I call them back and as it rings I spread out on my bed in a starfish position. "Hello?" I hear someone pick up. "Hello, who's this?" I ask. "It's Connor." The other person said, making my heart beat really fast. I stand up and nervously walk around my room. "Hey Connor, what's up?" I say calmly. "I was just wondering if you wanted to catch up sometime?" He asked me. "Yeah sure, I'm totally up for that. I mean, ok when?" I say and hit myself in the face. "Bethany you're so stupid." I say quietly to myself. "How about tomorrow at Starbucks, around 2?" he says. "Ok, sure. Sounds great." I reply. "Okay, see you then Bethany." "Yep, bye Connor." I say and hang up. I put my phone to my chest and take a deep breath. "So smooth Bethany, so smooth." I say shaking my head at my stupidity. I take out my camera, trypod and lights to start filming my video. 

**Cali's POV**

Jc and I walk into the house. Wishbone comes running and jumps into Jc's arms. "Hey ili wishbone, how ya doin bud? I missed you!" Jc says in his baby voice. "It's so good to be back home." I say, and Jc smiles. "Hey guys!" I hear Kian say walking out of the kitchen. I attack him with a huge hug. "I missed you Cali." Kian says. "I missed you too Kiki." I reply and let go. I race up stairs to greet Connor. "Hey Con!" I say walking into his room. "Hey!" He says getting up and hugging me. "How was your Christmas?" He asks letting go of the hug. "It was amazing, how about you?" I asked him. "Just the usual Franta Christmas." He replied. "So where's Ricky?" I ask sitting on his bed. "He's coming back in two days." He said. "Okay, what's got you in such a good mood?" I ask. I havn't seen Connor smile this much since Chelsea was here. "If I tell you, could you promise not to tell anyone? I don't want this to get back to Chelsea or someone making it out to be something it's not." He says. "Of course." I say. "Ok well, I'm going on a date with Bethany tomorrow." He says smiling at the floor. "A date?" I say smiling at him. "Well, it's not a date date. We're just catching up as friends." I says. "But I'm guessing you want it to be more?" I ask. "Kinda." He says looking up at me. I smile. "Well don't worry Con, your secret is safe with me." I say getting up and walking towards the door. "Thanks." I hear him say. "No problem." I reply and close the door behind me. 

I walk downstairs and into the lounge room. "When are Jenn and Andrea coming back?" I ask as I sit on the couch with Kian. "Andrea's coming back tomorrow, and Jenn will be back tonight." He says turning on Mario cart. "Wanna play?" Kian asks. "Sure." I say picking up a controller. "Get ready to lose!" I say to him. "Pft, please. You can't beat me." Kian says as we select our characters. "Pft, yeah I will. I'm the champion at this game." I say defending myself. "Well I'm the king of this game!" He says trying to win this argument. "I'm the god of this game." I say with a smirk. "i'm the god of this game." Kian says mimicking me. I playfully push. "You push like a girl." He says. "I am a girl." I say back. We look at each other and laugh, starting the game. 

**That night**

Jenn and I got home from picking her up at the airport. As we walk into the apartment it's freezing. We turn on the lights and the heater. "It should get warm soon." Jenn says talking her suitcase up stairs. I grab my suitcase and take it upstairs to unpack. As I was unpacking it started to rain. The sound of rain is probably my favorite sound in the world, it made me feel so calm. "By the way Sam's coming over in 10 so we can film a collab." Jenn says making me feel not so calm anymore. "I just wanted to see if you where cool with that." She says. "Yeah, yeah of course. We're all friends again so I don't see why not." I reply. "Awesome, thanks." She says walking back into her room. 

Once I'm finished unpacking I got have a shower and get into black Nike sweatpants and a white and black Adidas sweater. I walked out of the bathroom without brushing my messy pink hair, I am so tired I couldn't even be bothered. I walk into the lounge room to see Sam sitting down on the couch. "Hey" He says to me. "hey.' i reply and sit next to him. "How've you been?" I ask him. "Good, what about you?" He says. "Great." I say nodding slowly. It's kind of weird have small talk with Sam, it feels like we're right back where we started. "It's time to film the video!" Jenn announces walking into the lounge room. "Do you want to come watch us film?" Sam asks me. "um, sure." I say and smile at him. When they film I just sit behind the camera watching them and having little random appearances.

**Morning**

I wake up to clear blue sky's. That rain didn't last very long. I get out of bed and walk down stairs. I walk into the kitchen and start boiling the water to have coffee, then I notice some laying on the couch. "Sam?" I say. "Morning Cali." He says sitting up. "Did you sleep here?" I ask him. "Yeah." I replied. "Coffee?" I asked him. "Sure." said. I made us some coffee and handed him his cup. Jenn comes down stairs. "Good morning." He says getting a glass of water. "Morning." Sam and I both reply. "ANy plans for today?" Jenn asks getting next to me. "I'm probably going to the guys house." I say standing up. "How about you?" "I'll probably just tag along." Jenn says. We both look at Sam. "What?" Sam says nervously. "You should come with." I say to him. "I know know." I says. "Come on, pleaseeeeeeee." Jenn says. "Ok fine." He says. "Awesome, I'm going to get ready and we'll go." I say going up stairs. I just hope bringing Sam with us is a good idea. 

**Chelsea's POV**

I walk down to the kitchen to get some breakfast, but my parents are already inconveniently sitting at the table making it awkward. I make myself some toast and sit down at the table. I still havn't forgive them for taring Connor and I apart and not allowing me to see my friends, but I just act like it's ok so they don't get mad. "So your mother and I have been thinking." My dad says. This news can defiantly not be good. "What?" I ask. "We want you to go to collage." My dad says practically paralyzing me. They're trying to send me off to this fancy collage where it's practically boarding school. It's all the way in Washington. "Collage isn't what I need right now." I say. "What do you need right now?" My mom asks. "You know what I need.." I say staring straight through my mom. "That's enough Chelsea! We already already in rolled you into the Washington collage, and you're starting in February. "You can't do that! It's not what I want for my future!" I shout. "What do you want then!? To make stupid little video on the internet like your friends who are never going to get anywhere in life!?" He says. I stand up. "Don't you dare take about my friends like that!" I say and run up to my room locking the door behind me. I scream and kick my chair over, I grab my book case and push it over and before I know it, I trashed my hole room. I just can't believe how fast my life turned to shit.
