"Hey, Zane?" I looked up at him with a slight confused look after what happened last week.

"Yea, Cutie?"

"Will I really be sent to Underworld for getting back my memories?"

Zane just stared at me for a second or two and coughed as he carried Emma. "I'm believing  Emma really does love me." He chuckled, swaying Emma back and forth as she giggled. I finally could tell that she really did love him. "Haven't you ever thought of having your own children?"

"Zane... I asked a question..." I frowned and grabbed his shoulder. "Please answer."

He sighed. A quiet sigh. A sigh that was saying, 'yes. yes it is true.'

"But..."

"I asked a question, Karin."

I rolled my eyes and giggled. "Yes. I have. But, I don't think it's possible. We're not humans. We're not real at all."

Zane sighed. He nodded and gently sat down Emma on the ground by her toys. "That's true, but..." he smirked and faced me, quickly wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me towards him with force. "It can't hurt to try."

"ZANE!!" I turned red and kissed his cheek. "Stop it!" I laughed. I love it when he was cocky. I love him so much, but being sent to underworld... it doesn't sound fun. "Zane..."

"I know..." He responded like he knew what I was thinking. His smirk and smile faded and was replaced with pure sadness. "It's not going to happen. I promise. I'll protect you no matter what."

"I read..."

"The Demon and The Angel? I read that one too..."

"Tell me the story..."

"Fine...."

-------

Once Upon a time, there was a young and a beautiful maiden. She was very well known in heaven. She was second in command and the right hand of Sir. That maiden was in control of everything and was put in charge of everything. She was loved and cared by everyone, but one fateful night changed everything.

She was doing her usual duty. Going above the city and watching the mortals sleep. She grew fond towards the creatures. She cared for them like they were her own. But that night, a black shadow crept along the streets. A demon. It was disguised as a human. She flew towards the man, grabbed him by the collar and flew off, flying above the clouds before landing on one.

"What are you doing here?" She asked with a broad voice. Showing no fear towards the demon. The demon didn't answer. He kept his head down. "Answer me..."

"I was admiring the creatures..."

"Yea right... that's what they all say... explain what you were planning to do."

"I had nothing planned. I was just admiring them." He took out a book, showing it to her. It had the words 'humans' on it. "I was taking down notes to see if this book has the true facts about them. You see? I must provide the true facts to my people in hell."

"Why? To strike even harder?"

"I'm the right hand of Satan. So if you have any questions or an opinion about this, go ahead and ask him." The demon frowned. "Now please. Do your job and send me back..."

The maiden frowned. She softly recited a praise but as she did, she felt sympathy towards him for some reason. She's never met a demon like him. No demon ever asked her to send him back. She sighed in the middle of it. Letting go off him as he spread his large dark wings. "Go..."

"Won't you get in trouble? I can see that you're the second hand of Sir."

"I won't."

"I have a feeling you will. Please, send me back."

"Why do you care?"

The demon smiled and grabbed the maiden's hands. Looking straight into her eyes. The maiden finally could see his eyes. He had deep green eyes. "Did you know 'humans' have this myth called 'Love at First Sight'. I've always believed it was fake... till now... so please. I would do anything for you."

She's heard that myth for some time now... she always loved to hear tales about it... but she never thought to be one of them. "I..." Her broad voice slowly turned into a timid one. She sighed and smiled. "We'll both get in trouble." She said and flew away.

Night after night, she saw the same demon at the same time. They talked for hours until their master called for them. They shared their first kiss for the first time and enjoyed it more than anything.

Until one night... they were under the moonlight. Enjoying their moment before an angel flew in and a demon warrior joined in.

"Demon... what are you doing?"

"Angel... what are you doing?"

They love birds stayed close to each other. They knew they were caught. They knew they were in trouble. But was it worth it?

That night, both demons and angels were united at the same place. They were all discussing about this horrible act.

"Punishment." The Sir's voice boomed across all the voices. "You defied the rules. Why?"

The maiden, had no words. She fell in love. She had a romantic adventure with a demon. She enjoyed every moment with him. She had no excuse.

"Why would you do that?" Satan asked, grabbing the demon with force as flames appeared on his two horns.

"Because... my lord... I..." The demon's voice quivered with fear. He was afraid. The demon grabbed the maiden's hand, smiled and pulled her towards him. "Because of love, sir. I fell for her. Was it bad to do that? Was it really bad to fall for an angel?"

Satan and Sir stood there in awe. Every single mouth dropped as they watched. "I..." Satan began.

"It's against the rules." Sir said. His hand rose as the demon and the angel were separated by their comrades. "Punishment is meant to be done."

----

"And both, the demon and the angel, perished that night. But, their love is still out there. Floating through the wind." Zane said, smiling.

"Do you think were carrying their love?" I asked.

"Probably. But, we'll take good care of it and nobody will stop us." Zane grabbed me, setting me on top of his lap. "Any-who, let's change the mood... let's try having kids."
