(Continuation of Flashback)
I stayed frozen as I stared at Jared, shocked. He also stared at me, frozen... "Jared...?"
Pain went through my chest. Looking down at my chest with a terrified look. I was shot...
I kneeled down, unable to breathe anymore as I grabbed onto my wound. I stared at my wound with huge eyes. The blood slowly marked my clothes, making it a huge red spot. "Jared...? Jake...?" I frowned and closed my eyes.
"Karin!?" I heard Jake's soft voice ring into my ear as I felt his arms around me. "Karin?! Sis!?"
"Jake..." My voice was weak and my heart was slowly slowing down.
"Sis? Don't close your eyes. Okay?" I looked up at him but my lids were getting heavy. "Stay with me, please... KARIN." I saw small tears coming out of his eyes.
"Jake... calm down." I sighed and looked over at him, getting a bit cold already.
"Karin!" Jared grabbed me and laid me down on his arms. "Stay still. The ambulance is heading this way and the cop just arrested the guy who kidnapped you. Zane Jackson. You aren't the first one he has kidnapped. He's been wanted for a year now. So just stay still and wait for the ambulance."
I shook my head. "Please. Just stop."
"Move it..." I hear the voice of the one and only guy. Zane Jackson.
Staring at him and quickly getting cold, Jake moved away and grabbed Jared's shoulder, trying to pull him away "I'm not going to move..." Jared growled but I sighed.
"Please move, Jared." Jared looked at me with a shocked face and gave a slight nod, moving away and giving an evil glare at Zane.
Zane crouched down towards me with a sad look as his arms were behind his back, his hands cuffed. "I'm sorry Karin... I... I didn't know what to do... it just happened li-"
"Zane, huh? I love that name." My lips slowly formed into a smile as I felt hot liquid come out of my mouth.
He chuckled and held me tightly, putting me against his chest. His heart was beating very quickly. "I... I'm sorry Karin..." He sniffled.
"Zane. Just calm down."
"Calm down?!" Zane's faced changed into a sad looking one into a serious one. "The person I love is about to die because of m-"
"Time's up..." A cop grabbed Zane's arm, pulling him away from me as I start closing my eyes and seeing a bright flash light before my eyes...
