"This was supposed to be a fun day," I whispered to Jeydon, "how could it go so wrong?" I started to cry.
"Hey, hey, calm down," he held me closer. "We need to be quiet or he'll find us."
We heard footsteps from the outside. They were approaching the closet we were in. The footsteps became slower, and then they stopped right in front of the door.
The door steadily opened. My heart started racing and i was breathing heavily niw. Jeydon put his hand on my mouth as if he expected me to stop. Then, the doir opened wider. The crraking sound it made was unbearable.
I was about to open the door myself and attempt to run away... But then, something happened, something.. strange.
