 Chapter|13

 3rd person view

 The Payne family had just arrived to Anne’s wedding. The parents, Karen and Geoff Payne, walk up to their son and hug him tightly. Geoff, the father, looks over to the girl who we all know is Alyssa, thinking its his girlfriend. Then, he remembers that his son’s girlfriend looks different.

The father is confused by who the girl’s position was with Liam, but the mom wasn’t surprised. She knew exactly who Alyssa was and was not happy to see her.

 Liam Payne

 Mum and dad walk over to me and hug me for dear life.

 “My, you have grown so much, just like your father,” remarked mum. I laughed at her comment. I turn my head, who was just standing awkwardly. Mum sent me a death glare.

 “You know, we would have called but we were afraid that you were too busy. We didn’t want to interfere with your success,” spoke dad. I sent him a look.

 “Dad, you know that I’m never busy for you guys. You’re my family, and I love you. It’s so great to finally see you after-“ I started. I began to think. “6 months.”

 Mum kept giving me a glare. “Liam, can I talk to you privately for a moment?” sincerely asked mum.

 I nodded, following her outside of the place the wedding party was being held. There were a few people outside, talking and drinking wine. I would assume that they are older based on their appearance.

 She locked her eyes with mine. “Why is she here?”

I was confused by her question.

"You know what I mean, Liam. Why is Alyssa here?"

"Because she's your daughter? She is still legally part of our family mum," I responded.

I looked at her. She seemed upset. "I gave her up for a reason."

My eyes widened. "What? Why"

"Because, I never liked her and she has no talent in her body."

I couldn't believe her. No talent? I tried to calm myslef down because I never liked making a scene. 

"No talent? You realize that she's our back up singer for tour right?" I whispered furiously.
