"Are you still mad at me?" Chris asked, still hold you in his arms. I shook my head and placed a tender kiss on his jawline, my lipstick leaving an outline of my lips. He turned his head and kissed me like he did whenever he got home. One of those 'I could die happy now' kind of kisses, when your whole body goes weak and it almost gives you goose bumps.
After it, we pulled away from each other. I was standing now, but leaning against him for support because of the kiss. I pulled my phone out and dialed a number, holding it to my ear.
"Who are you calling?" He asked, smiling down at me. I think the effects of the kiss got him, too.
"Kuza," I responded, running my finger over his lip and giggling. My lipstick came off on my finger.
Three rings and a hoarse, "Hello?"
"Kuza, it's Kari," I said and even I could hear the smile in my voice.
"Did you hear anything?" He asked, urgent.
My smile just got bigger. "He's home."
"Oh thank God," he said, immediately sounding relieved. "Can I talk to him?"
"Of course," I said and held the phone towards Chris. "He wants to talk to you."
Chris takes the phone and holds it to his ear. "Hello...Hey man....yeah I'm okay....what do you mean?...She was?....Are you okay?...I'm glad...I will...Okay, talk to you later bro." He hung up the phone and looked at me. "I love you baby."
"I love you too," I said, a giant smile spreading across my face.
"Come on, let's go cuddle," he said and pulled me towards his room My smile grew. I'm so glad he's home.

"Why are you so beautiful?" Chris asked as we snuggled in his bed. I giggled and blushed like a little high school girl.
"Why are you so handsome?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow at him with a grin still on my face. He smiled at me.
"Shush," he said as I rested my head against him. "Baby, you know I'm only gonna be here for a few days right?"
I sighed but nodded. "Yes, I know."
He relaxed back onto the bed and we laid there for a while.
"This is what I missed," he said after a while.
I was slightly confused. "What?"
"The cuddling," he said, smiling down at me. "I don't miss the sex, or the anything else. Just the cuddling." He stopped. "And maybe the kisses, and your smile."
I grinned again and turned so my head was back on his chest. A comfortable silence fell around us and I almost fell asleep. His heart beat was so steady and soothing. His voice was nearly a whisper next, and I barely heard him before I fell asleep.
"Why are you so beautiful?"
