"Come on baby, we're on in five minutes!" Chris called. I groaned.

"Babe, the stage is literally three yards away. It will not take five minutes to get there, calm yourself," I said, smiling. It was the first show of the tour and I could tell that he was excited.

He smiled back at me and stopped walking, holding his hand out to me. I caught up and grabbed it, giving it a squeeze. He smiled down at me and kissed me softly.

"Are you excited?" I asked. He nodded quickly.

"My nerves are going though. I'm always afraid my voice will be terrible and I'll let the kids down, you know?" He said, rubbing the back of his neck, his eyes filling with worry. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.

"You'll do amazing like you always do, and I'll be standing side stage to cheer you on," I smiled and I heard the guys start calling for Chris. "You better go. The guys need you."

He looked over and the nodded, kissing me one more time before going to the guys. They did their adorable little pre-show warm up chant thing and jumped around, getting all excited. Then the beginning to Scissorhands started and the guys started walking out. Chris gave me one last glance before walking out onto the stage.

He poured his heart out for those kids, and I've never seen him so happy, and when those kids sang along, it was like a two year old on Christmas morning. I smiled the whole time, and it made me happy to see him so happy.

And I've never been more proud of him.
