"What do you want for your birthday Chris?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
"I don't want anything," he said, giving me a smile.
I glared at him. "You have to want something."
"Nope," he said, the smile turning cocky.
"Fine, I'm just gonna get you a pumpkin spice latte then," I said. He nodded.
"I like those."
I rolled my eyes as my phone started ringing. It was Kylie.
"Hello?" I answered
"Hey babe, whatcha doin'?" She asked, a smile very evident in her voice.
"Just sitting with Chris, what're you doing?" I asked, smiling too.
She groaned. "He's not supposed to be there!"
"I know," I said, looking at Chris who was now focused on the football game that was on the T.V.
"I'm coming to get you so we can get stuff for his party," she said, clearly irritated that Chris was here.
I giggled. "Alright babe, I'll be here."
I hung up the phone and Chris looked at me. "Are you leaving?"
"Yeah, with Kylie," I said, smiling at him and pecking his lips quickly. I stood and went to grab my jacket.
"But baby, I need to talk to you about something," he said.
I gave him a confused look. "Can't it wait till I get back?"
"But it's in important," he said, not answering my question.
"Is it urgent?" I asked. He shook his head. "Then it can wait till I get back."
