Not your perfect begining

Sleeping did help. I had a clear vision of what I was going to do.

I went to school that day and went straight to Adam. I told him everything about Jacob.

He hugged me, pulled me away from him, kissed me on my forehead and said ''I know how hard it is to forget your first crush. I dont want you to go ahead in our relationship and have regrets. You should go to him.''

I had only told Adam all of this because cuz he deserved to know. He was my choice not Jacob but Adam had a point. I didnt want to regret my decision.

I guess Adam understood what I thinking.

He said ''Let me make things easier for you. I'm breaking up with you.''

''But...''

''No buts. Just go to him and if things don't work out, I'll always be here for you.'' He smiled and walked away.

Why did have to be such a nice guy?

I didnt know whether I was doing the right thing letting him go, but then again, My crush on Jacob had started since 8th grade. If I didn't atleast give him a chance, I'd regret it my whole life.

I wanted to go see Jacob but the bell rang and I had to go to class. I couldn't see him till lunch cuz I was really busy with cheerleading.

He had a place for me and Tyra as usual. Tyra was going to be a little late because she was in the prom committee.

I awkwardly went and sat next to him. He didnt even say anything except 'Hey'.

I started ''About yesterd...''

''You dont need to say anything.'' He interupted '' I saw you talking to Adam in the morning and Tyra told me everything about you two. Its obviously the only reason you needed time to think was cuz you had to choose between him and me and since you talked to him in the morning and not me, he is obviously your choice. Thats fine but can we please not talk about this ever again?''

''No. Just listen. I didnt choose him over you. I did exactly the opposite.''

''Ash, I don't want to...wait.. did you just?''

He got fron his seat and pulled me up and gave me a big bear hug.

''I love you, Ashley! You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this day to come.'' Trust me, I do because ive been waiting for much longer.

''OMG! great! I miss one recess and so much happens!'' Tyra said.

I didnt even reply...I was too busy day dreaming...I remembered the first time me and Jacob had met in 3rd grade...I called him a dumbhead and he said I had cooties. I cant believe that day lead to all this!

I remembered how heart broken I got everytime Jacob introduced me to his new girlfriends...and now I was his girl.

It felt good to say that.

''Ash! Are you even listening to me?'' I guess Tyra figured out that i wasnt paying attention since I was smiling like an idiot at the wall.

''Not really.''

''Ugh! Just tell me what happened during lunch. I. WANT. DETAILS.''

I told Tyra everything and she just nodded her head in agreement to everything I said.

''...and that's it.''

''Ugh! I so wish I was there...stupid prom made me miss all this.''

''Don't worry Ty...it will be worth it when everyone's complimenting the deco for prom.''
