Chapter 2

Laura POV -

I went up the stairs into Rydel's bedroom. I started to think about her brother. I really never saw his baby pictures before, but I didn't want to see him because Rydel told me he was ugly and annoying and that he was in Argentina, so he would have changed, and that he might be a totally different person now. Wow. I even ramble in my head... I think I might like him a tiny little bit. But then, he started yelling at me for no apparent reason, so, I don't really think dating a boy who totally hates you would really make any sense. Anyways, staring at the wall was getting boring, so I decided to EAVESDROP! That's my thing that I do when Rydel has a conversation with someone. This is how I know everything about her.

Ross - You know, Alex, Laura is actually a great girl and I really like her. But, because I have anger issues, and I yelled at her, she probably hates me.

Who is ALEX? I decided to actually walk out the door to see. Rydel was in the backyard, I'm guessing, since she wasn't there. There was no Alex, but Ross kept talking.

Ross - ... What should I do? Alex, you're the only friend I have now after all my other friends 'broke up' with me because of my anger issues.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! Ross, the angriest person, has an imaginary friend! See? You get juicy information when you eavesdrop!

??? - Boo!

Laura - AHHH! Rydel! You scared me so much! Where did you come from?

Rydel - I was spying on you the whole time! That's how I get my juicy information!

Ross - GIrls? What the heck are you doing here?! I was talking to my friend! Now you scared him away!

Ross POV -

I can't possibly let them know that I have an imaginary friend. I am most likely the toughest guy they know, and I can't ruin that reputation! It's the best one so far! There's meanest guy, rudest guy, angriest guy... and all those. Tough isn't really as bad. But right now, I have to keep my anger in if I want Laura to like me. CONSCIENCE? ARE YOU UP THERE? Yeah, why? TRY TO KEEP ME CALM WHEN I START FREAKING OUT. Ok Got it. Will do.

Laura - Umm. I WAS NOT spying on you and DID NOT hear that you have an imaginary friend, and I DID NOT spy on you until Rydel sneaked up on me!

Ross - WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? I do NOT like girls who sneak up on people randomly and ...

Ross, CALM DOWN! B T Dubbs, this is your conscience.

Ross - I'm sorry, Laura. I guess my anger just came out again...

Laura POV -

I guess I was wrong about him. He's actually really nice, it's just his anger issues that are stopping him! I have to help. And I might give him a chance... I don't know if he likes me back, though.... I have a plan.

Laura - Ross...
