College (Joji x Reader)

Chapter 6

The next day, you walked into class and smiled at Joji as you took your seat. Although you were happy to see him, you decided to go straight to interrogation.

"So, what did Sasha want to tell you yesterday?" 

"Huh? Oh, she just wanted to go to the park with me and hang out." You did your best to not get jealous.

"Really... That sounds... Great..."

"Yeah, I figured, 'Why not,' you know?"

"Uh huh... So, when are you going?"

"Right after this class, actually." You didn't have another class after this one for a while either. That's when you put your plan into motion. 

As soon as class was over, you sprinted to your dorm room and found Violet reading a book.

"LILAC!"

"It's V- ... You know what? Fuck it. What is it?"

"Do you have any classes soon?"

"I just finished my last one for the day. Why?"

"Do you wanna go to the park?" She gave you a confused look.

"We haven't really talked much. Why do you wanna go to the park with me?"

"What, I can't bond and get to know my roommate?" Violet sat in silence for a few seconds, closed her book, and decided to come with you to the park. 

The park was bigger than you thought. It had a long walking trail and greenery as far as the eye could see. You and Violet were walking along the trail when you saw Sasha getting some popcorn from a food stand with Joji standing behind her.  You grabbed Violet's wrist, ran off the trail, and hid behind a bush that was near Joji and Sasha. 

"Y/N! What the hell was that!?"

"Shhh! I'm trying to listen!" 

"Can you at least tell me why we're really here?" This wasn't the time to make conversation, but you felt bad leaving Violet in the dark.

"Fine. You see that guy right there?"

"Oh yeah, you were with him at that party, right?"

"Yeah. That girl he's with asked him to come here with her and I wanna see what they're talking about."

"You get my name wrong twice, and now you've revealed to me you're a creepy stalker. You're really not giving me the best impression of you." 

The two of you remained silent as Joji and Sasha came close to the bush. 

"It's so pretty out here, isn't it?" Sasha said, smiling.

"Yeah, I'm glad you took me here. I should come here more often." Joji's eyes shifted across the park, taking in the scenery.

You felt your face grow hot as you saw Sasha give Joji some of her popcorn. They continued to stand in front of the bush as they finished the small bag. Sasha crumpled the bag into a ball. The nearest trash can was several feet away, so you began to plan out how you and Violet were going to move in order to stay close to Joji and Sasha. However, your thoughts were cut short as you saw the paper ball fly up and hit Violet in the head. 

"Ow! Hey, what the hell, dude!?" You felt your stomach drop as Violet stood up, blowing your cover. 

"I should be asking you that," Sasha said. "Were you spying on us?"

"No, I wasn't. I was dragged along by a crazy stalker chick who was spying on you. Y/N, get up!" 

You slowly rose out from behind the bush. You noticed Joji glaring at you, and you felt your world shatter. 

"Um... I can explain." Sasha began smirking.

"Oh, I'd love to hear this."

"Uhhh.... You see, Violet and I were going to park to spend some time together and get to know each other like roommates should. And it just so happened that we saw you, and we decided to g-"

Doing what you knew best, you didn't finish your sentence before ultimately deciding to book it, with Violet in tow.
