It's been four months since you've started working for Jongin and even though his sisters have returned from their rebellion, you still keep coming back. Only, you don't just come every Wednesday. Your hours have increased to work every other day. The workers and his sisters know you as the babysitter who helps out the only male boss. But they have no idea what happens behind the closed doors of his office or on the weekends when you're over at Jongin's place.
Taeoh has also grown greatly over the past four months. He can now walk without anyone's aid. He can even talk back whenever his father scolds him. And just like any other child, he is getting greedier and eating everything he sees. But you've also created a kind of bond with the child since you see him for most days of the week. He has grown to be really close to you, which initially shocked the sisters. Now they don't find it unusual anymore, teasing by saying it's just Taeoh's preference in women.
It is Friday evening when you receive a call from your sister. You're having dinner with Taeoh and Jongin in the office. Did you mention that Taeoh can now start using a spoon and fork? You and Jongin were so proud when he held up his utensils and stopped using his hands to eat. You answer the call, giving your stomach a break and just watching the father and son eat.
"Yo, sister."
You laugh, rolling your eyes. "What was that? Don't do that again. What's up?"
"Let's go clubbing tonight!" your sister squeals excitedly.
"Tonight?" you repeat, glancing at Jongin, who is staring at you with raised eyebrows. You're not sure your CEO boyfriend would like that very much.
"Jongin-ah," someone knocks on the door and Jaeyee pokes her head into the office, not even waiting for the cue to come in. "Wanna go clubbing tonight? Leave Taeoh with mum." she winks at you when she sees that you're on the phone, "Her sister must be asking her the same thing right now."
How'd she know?
Your sister is currently urging you, "So? You're coming, right?"
"Are you going?" you and Jongin ask each other at the same time. "I'll go if you go," you say together again.
"What are you guys, five?" Jaeyee snickers. "But it's cute," she grins.
"I'll go," Jongin tells his sister. She shoots a thumb up and bounces off once she closes the door.
"Yeah, sure, I'll come," you murmur, staring at Jongin.
"Awesome!!!" your sister cheers. "My friends are coming too, I'll introduce you to some guys later." You open your mouth to say something about not being interested but she cuts you off, "See you!"
And she hangs up the phone. You stare at your phone and then at Jongin. "I haven't gone clubbing in years," he mutters, rubbing his face.
"Just have fun," you tell him, leaning forward to eat again. "I haven't gone clubbing in months either, ever since we started dating."
Jongin hums, wiping sauce from the side of your lips and licking it off his finger. "I'll send Taeoh to my mum's place and then I'll drop you off? Should I fetch you to the club too?"
"My sister will most probably be fetching me," you tell him. "I'll see you there, maybe."
"I'd better see you there," he mutters under his breath as he brings Taeoh's water to his son. "Drink water, Taeoh-yah."
The boy obediently listens, dropping his spoon and holding the cup with two hands. When he finishes, he puts the cup down and starts eating again. You play with Taeoh for the rest of the time since you have finished your semester in uni and are on holiday now. At 8PM, Jongin packs up and brings the baby necessities enough for one night. The three of you leave the office as the last ones since Jaeyee and Jaeyeon have already returned home.
