Days passed, then weeks, then months. It is crazy how a year has already gone by since you met Jongin. It felt like just yesterday that you met the attractive man for the first time. Your relationship with him is still exciting, not yet dwindling. It doesn't seem like it is going to reach a plateau anytime soon. You feel like this honeymoon period will continue on for a few more months, maybe another year if you're lucky.

Another month went by, then two, then three. Before you know it, you're already on your last exam of your bachelor's degree. You had been waiting for this day since you entered uni, and now that it is finally here, you just feel so awed. Has it already been three years? Everything feels so unreal; that you are already finishing your degree, that you have your CEO boyfriend and a son who is now also yours.

Speaking about the latter, you are surprised when you spot Jongin and Taeoh waiting for you outside your exam hall. Even though they are standing far from the crowd, you can still see them. It is as if you have a special radar just for these two boys. You push through the mass of students, breaking out of the crowd. Jongin beams when he sees you and Taeoh lights up at your appearance. You run over to them where Jongin immediately catches your tackle, lifting you slightly off the ground.

His face is turned into the back of your ear as he presses his lips on the skin there. You squeal with happiness and excitement. Taeoh is jumping up and down, equally as ecstatic.

"How was the paper?" Jongin murmurs, pulling his head back to look at you. He still doesn't let you down.

You grin at him, "Awesome!!! And I'm now a graduate!!!"

"Not so fast, sweetheart," he chuckles, rubbing your nose with his. Your hair stands at the affectionate action and how ticklish it feels. This Eskimo kiss is new to you, because Jongin only recently started doing it to both you and Taeoh. You really don't know how he developed this habit. "You still need to wear the graduate cap and receive your cert."

"I'm already almost there," you shrug, unfazed. "I'm officially a graduate in my head now."

"And you're officially my wife in my head now," he murmurs, kissing your jawline lightly. You blush and he chuckles before whispering, "Wanna know a secret?" you look at him suspiciously, not sure whether you want to hear it. But he still says it anyway, "I already have your ring."

"My ring?" you squeak. You are breathless and all you can hear is your heart beating despite how noisy the entire mass of students is.

"Mmhmm," he sets you down gently, his smile wide on his lips. Taeoh hugs your legs but you're too stunned to move. Jongin cocks his head. "You wanna see it?"

"Now?" you whisper, a hand over your mouth.

"If I show it to you now, I'm going to have to propose here," he says so naturally, like it's normal to say these words. He is slowly dropping to one knee but you pull him up quickly.

"No, no, no," you shake your head rapidly. You just don't want eyes on you, you're too shy. "Not now. No. No."

Jongin takes your resistance as a negative answer to the big question. His entire spirit falls when he mumbles, "You don't wanna marry me." It wasn't a question. It is as if he is so damn sure that you wouldn't want to marry him.

Taeoh is screaming for your attention, so you give Jongin a look you always do when you have to attend to his son first. You squat down to Taeoh's level and he pouts at you, his wide eyes sad.

"Why are you yelling?"

"I want you to play with me," he whines, trying to snuggle into your arms.

"But appa and umma are talking. It's rude to interrupt," you berate him and he pouts even more. You kiss his head and tell him gently, "Umma will play with you afterwards, okay?"
