"Should we enrol him in a childcare centre?" Jongin asks you softly as he threads his fingers through his son's hair.

"You said you don't want to be leave him like his mother," you raise an eyebrow as you stop cleaning his office.

"I know," Jongin mutters, rolling his eyes. "I'm not leaving him. We're both busy and he's getting more needy, I thought—"

"We're okay, oppa," you assure him. "We're both capable of taking care of Taeoh."

"I know you are," he sighs, getting up from the corner of the room where Taeoh is sleeping on his mattress. He comes over and circles his arms your waist, swaying you lightly and kissing your forehead. "You're so strong and beautiful. And more capable than I am."

"You run a company, Mr. Kim," you laugh, playing with the collar of his dress shirt. "I'm far from capable."

"Taking care of a kid like he's your own born child when he isn't even yours? That in itself is already a great act of sacrifice, love and capability," he tells you easily, sincerely. "And I'm always grateful. And always in disbelief that you're with me."

"You know how to sweet-talk a girl," you laugh, pulling him by the collar to give him a firm kiss on his lips.

"A woman," he corrects when you pull away from the kiss. "Seriously though, I don't want to burden you with babysitting. What with school getting hectic again..."

"But if I stop babysitting then I won't have to come here anymore..."

"Nonsense," he calls. "You're my precious girlfriend, you can come over whenever. Everyone knows we're dating anyway."

"Not the staff working here," you respond, fixing his collar. You cover his hands that are on either sides of your hips.

"They'll find out," Jongin shrugs, spreading his fingers for your fingers to fit. "Unlike my sisters, we're not obliged to tell them."

You squeeze his fingers before pulling his hands away. You start going back to your cleaning as you finalise, "No childcare centres for Taeoh."

"If you say so," he sings and walks back to his desk to do his work. "What time do you have to leave, by the way?"

You have a project to do later, so you have to leave early. Luckily, Jongin doesn't have anymore meetings today and neither has he any rounds to make. Taeoh would be in his care while you're gone. And since it is a Wednesday night, you won't be staying over with Jongin, which means that you'll be going home straight from the project meeting.

You check the time and say, "About an hour later."

"I'll fetch you there," Jongin tells you.

"If Taeoh's still not awake then you stay here. I can catch a bus."

"I don't want you to take a bus," he almost sounds like a spoilt brat. Except, he's being a spoilt brat for you. "You're taking oppa's car whether you like it or not."

"I'll always love whatever you do for me," you go over to him and kiss his cheek.

He turns his chair and pulls you to sit on his lap. You circle your arms around his neck and survey the room. It's nearly cleaned. But now that you're seated on Jongin's lap, you don't want to move again. You rest your head on his shoulder and he hugs your closer, rubbing your back.

"I don't wanna clean anymore," you mumble in exhaustion.

Jongin chuckles, kissing your head. "Baby, you didn't even have to clean in the first place. I can always hire people to tidy things up for me."
