"Hey, babe?"
"Yeah?" you answer distractedly as you go through the water bills with Taeoh sitting on your lap, reading his own book.
"Are you free right now?" Jongin asks through the phone.
"Kind of," you hum, setting down the papers. "Why?"
"I have an important meeting in an hour and I left the document at home. Do you think you could bring it to the office for me?"
"Yeah, sure. Where is it?" you ask as you set Taeoh on the ground while you go in search for the document that Jongin needs.
"It's in the study, on the table. It's a black folder."
"Oh, I see it."
"Thanks, baby."
"I'll see you—"
"Wait," Jongin stops you. "Bring Sehun's present too, we'll just leave from the office."
You chuckle. "Alright. See you in a bit."
"Drive safe," he murmurs. "Love you."
"Love you too," you answer shyly.
When the call ends, you grab the folder and put it together with Sehun's birthday present. You get yourself and Taeoh ready to leave the house, the both of you dressed nicely for Sehun's birthday dinner. You make sure you take everything before leaving the house and then take a cab to Jongin's office.
You don't even need an employee's card now anymore. Whenever the workers see you, they bow 90 degrees as though they're bowing to one of the bosses. It still makes you a little uncomfortable because not only are you not a boss of their company, but you're also not a working adult. Jongin really doesn't want you working and you think you're okay with that idea. The past year, you've been spending more time with Taeoh and you actually like this life where you get to wait on your husband and greet him home from work. But you know you're going to be bored in a few years, so Jongin promises to open a small shop for you if you really want to do something with your free time.
You reach the top floor of the building and Taeoh immediately runs out into the familiar place. He plays with his aunts while you look for Jongin after you've said hi to them. You knock on the door and poke your head into the office that is now clean from all baby stuff. It was kind of sad when you and Jongin had to pack all of the baby things into a box and bring them home. But it was also of no use now that you could watch over Taeoh at home and also, the boy has already outgrown some of those things.
"Oh, look at you," Jongin smiles, leaning back in his seat. "You look gorgeous."
You chuckle. "You bought me this dress, oppa."
"Yes, I think I have good taste in women's clothing," he grins up at you when you place the folder on his desk. His eyes drop to your cleavage that is enhanced by the V-cut of the red dress you're wearing. "God, you're so fucking sexy," he mutters.
You laugh, tilting his chin upwards so that he is looking at you. You lean in and kiss him on the lips lightly. "Taeoh is just outside," you remind him.
"We've done it in his presence before," Jongin murmurs, craning his neck for another kiss.
"That was when he was sleeping and when he was younger," you laugh, allowing one more kiss. "Just tame yourself until after your best friend's party and Taeoh is sleeping, okay?"
"He isn't my best friend..."
"You already accepted the fact that he is your best friend a few weeks ago, babe," you laugh, teasing him.
