You wake up when you hear a gruff voice laughing softly. You open your eyes a little just to see Jongin chuckling next to you while his son sits on his stomach, bouncing up and down. His hands are out just in case Taeoh falls off your bed. Even the boy is giggling, a little too awake at nine in the morning.
"Daddy," Taeoh whispers loudly. "Mommy is still sleeping."
"Yes, so we need to be quiet," Jongin answers in a susurrant, his rough morning voice making your stomach flip.
Taeoh stops bouncing and instead leans forward until the side of his face is on his father's chest. You can't stop that soft smile from breaking out on your lips, so you use the blanket to hide more of your face, just so you can watch them silently. Jongin rubs Taeoh's back with his big hand, dropping his head to kiss his son's head.
"Are you excited to move to our new house?" Jongin murmurs. Taeoh nods. "Why?"
"Then mommy doesn't have to leave to her own house," the boy answers.
"We're in her home now, Taeoh-yah," Jongin chuckles.
Jongin's huge apartment has been emptied into the new place that he bought. So the father and son are staying in your place for now, until the wedding day, and then you're all going to be moving in as a family. You have cleared most of your belongings into the new place too, since it is only a week to the wedding day. But since this apartment was rented, you don't have to bring any furniture with you.
"But I don't like mommy leaving," Taeoh mutters. Your heart bursts at those words. He is so adorable sometimes.
Jongin hums and nods. "Me too."
"Mommy will be living with us forever in our new house, right daddy?"
"Yes," Jongin chuckles, playing with Taeoh's ear.
You wiggle closer to the father and son. Jongin turns to you and pulls down the blanket that is obscuring your face. When he sees that you're awake, he smiles.
"Good morning," he murmurs, eyes dancing brightly even though it is still early.
"Morning," you croak, causing Taeoh to lift his head to stare at you.
"Mommy!" the boy gets off his father and goes over to you, hugging your neck.
You chuckle, patting his back. Jongin leans forward and you moan softly when he gives you a morning kiss. He is grinning when he pulls away.
"Are you guys hungry?" you ask, clearing your throat in an attempt to sound more awake. Taeoh nods his head. "I'll make breakfast," you announce.
Taeoh lets go of you when you sit up. Taeoh scrambles off the bed as you stand. Jongin follows in suit and the three of you leave the bedroom together. You're tying your hair in front of the opened refrigerator when Jongin stands behind you, massaging your shoulders. You turn your head to face him and he smiles softly.
"Don't you have to go to work today?" you ask him.
"I'm the boss," he shrugs, his hands still kneading your tensed muscles. "I'll go to work whenever I want."
You laugh. "Provided your sisters don't hunt you down."
"Just don't tell on me," he replies jokingly, pecking you on the lips. He looks down all of a sudden. "Taeoh, what are you doing?"
The boy doesn't answer, only continues to hug his father's leg. Jongin stops massaging you to try to pull his son away. Taeoh giggles and tightens his arms around Jongin's calves. Jongin sighs and leaves his son hanging off his leg, giving you a deadpanned look.
