Chapter 5.... Family

Klaus

I had been there for now 2 weeks. Star was staying with us but Rebekah still chose to stay back. I walked into the house and looked up "Rebekah" I said with a smile as she sat on the couch. "Klaus where is our brother" Rebekah asked standing up and walking over. "I am sorry my love but I don't know what you mean" I said to her.

"He called me and has been trying to talk me into coming back yet I call him back and no answer". I thought for a second then looked upstairs "Star" I called up but no answer as I stomped my way upstairs. I opened her bedroom door and looked around as she sat up "what is it" she asked with a yawn "where is Elijah" "what do you mean I thought he was with you" she asked.

"Don't play that game with me where is he" she smiled "fine you caught me" she said getting up out of bed. She moved a blanket and there laid Elijah with the dagger inside of his chest. "Klaus what happen" Rebekah asked as I looked at Star "I did something you couldn't do" Star said crossing her arms and looking at me.

"You know he trusted you" I said to her "why do you think I did it" she said as I walked up to her. "Maybe you are like me" I said as she smiled a little "what did you do to our brother" Rebekah asked looking at me "and who are you".

"First I took care of things because we need to get rid of Marcel and Marcel doesn't like having more than one Original in town so I took care of it. Second I'm Star, Woods" Star said with a small smile as Rebekah looked at her shocked and grabbed her throat, pushing her against the wall.

I quick grabbed Rebekah and threw her across the room "why are you protecting her she killed our brother". "Because she knew that's what needed to happen" I said as she shook her head "you two are alike" she said and walked away as I sighed.

Star

I looked at Elijah and sighed "I'm sorry, but I had to" I covered him back up as Klaus walked upstairs. "That was some surprise" Klaus said to me standing in my doorway "I just did what I had to do" I said as he looked at me.

"How did you know that I was going to do that" "lets just say, you raised me well" I said with a smile. Klaus walked away as I sat on my bed and knew what I had to do "Klaus" I said and ran outside of my room, half way down the stairs. He turned around and looked at me.

"I have to know" I paused as I felt my voice almost crack and sighed "do you, do you have feelings any more" I asked him. Klaus sighed and shook his head "Star" "no answer me, the truth, I didn't kill Elijah because I knew that you needed him to but because I had to know if you even had a heart still".

Klaus was silent "why all of a sudden do you care" "because I" I paused "never mind I was wrong anyways". I started to walk upstairs "Star wait" Klaus appeared in front of me "why" he asked. "Because I care about you Klaus and I know somewhere, deep down inside of you, you care to. Will you ever show it? Probable not but don't deny it" I said and walked pass Klaus.

"How do you know" Klaus asked me and I stopped looking at him "because if you didn't you wouldn't have taken me in all those years ago. And you wouldn't have taken me in now" I said to him as he stood there silent.

I turned around and started to walk up the stairs but was stopped by Klaus "Star" Klaus said and appeared in front of me. I looked into his eyes as he looked into mind. I didn't know what was going to happen until the next thing I knew...... He kissed me.

{Hey sorry that I haven't updated in a while I was waiting for the show to come on so I could get some more ideas. At this point (if there's anyone confused) Star is around the age Klaus was when he was turned so there's not that big of an age difference. Thanks everyone}
