After awhile in the rain, I ran to the hospital to tell my mom about what happened today. The smile never leave my face. My feet tapped softly on the ground as I hummed to some unknown tune I made while waiting for the elevator to stopped on the 3rd floor.

As soon as the elevator dinged, I instantly ran outside, rushing to see my dear mother. Twisting the doorknob I ran my way to hug her.I settled down hurriedly to sit beside her, impatient to pour everything out to her. "Mom! Do you know that I talked to dad and he listened! Do you remember when I keep saying that I really wanted a man-to-man talk with him like those guys in school does since I was fourteen? Well I did, mom. Just now. I know  he'll listened mom! That coconut lied! He told me that dad won't ever listened to me because he's dead already! Mom! Once you woke up! I want you to talk to dad too. You tell him you love him okay mom?" I promised her. I can't help but laughed all along as I told her.

I was in an euphoric state. Don't blame me.

My eyes softened looking at her, her lips pale, her face losing it's once bright colour. No longer the vibrant colour, no longer the pink full lips, no longer beautiful blue eyes. I stood up walking to the mirror placed in the room.

I looked at my reflection, inspecting it , detail by detail. Her eyes, her nose, his smile, his dimples, her cheekbones and his jawline. I resembled them. I smiled lightly, my finger slowly grazing down the cold surface of the mirror.

I went back and lay down the sofa beside my mom, looking at her before I drift off to sleep."Love you mommy." As I placed a kissed on her forehead.
