My body weakened after every hit become numb. "I'm useless." I tried punching harder than before but it seemed to fail. My visions starts to turned blurry as I felt my arms heavy.I could no longer feel my muscles nor can I move any of them as I lay there, still in the pool of my own blood. Finally the darkness welcomed me with an open arms.
"Is he okay?" I heard a soft voice asked somewhere near me. My head pounds in my head like my brain are going to burst in the matter of seconds. "He's sleeping now. We managed to get blood and his fist are all stitched up." An old voice which I assumed is someone older explained.
She sighed in relief as I heard the door closed indicating someone just left.Suddenly, I felt ahand placed on mine. "Hey there handsome, we never did introduce ourselves but I knew that the moment I laid my eyes on you, I've fallen in love with you. I got to know that you're Lucas. Hi Lucas, my name is Charlotte. Charlotte Hayes."
Charlotte, what a beautiful name.
With all the fibre I had in me, I tried to twitch my finger and for once, luck was on my side.My eyes pried open, just for me to close it again. The light is sure damn bright. Fianlly, when I'm adjusted to the brightness I turned my head to be face to face with Charlotte.
"Hey?" I croaked out suddenly feeling my throat dry."Water?" She offered.I nodded my head as she handed it to me.
"So want to get to know each other?" She smiled shyly. "Uhmm, 21 questions?" "Seems cool."
