I hid behind the tree watching him silently. Stupid Colton. Having every singe of his spies following me around. I couldn't believe my eyes what he did today. It turned Lucas into someone else. He zoned out suddenly, and right then, his face morped into a heartbroken expression. It makes him looks so gullible, vulnerable that not many words could explain. But it was hard to look at him without breaking down. His eyes clearly hidden a thousand heartbreaks, hundred sadness and ten thousands stories.

He hadn't realized that I've followed him out the school. My heart softened looking at his condition right now. He planted his face on the freshly cut grass and crieed his eyes out. This is by far, the first time I ever see a guy cried, so heartbroken. He was full on sobbing like it's no tomorrow. After awhile he laid silent and started to sit up.

What he doe s next crashed my heart. He starts talking to the wind.Yet, it;s not just the action, but the words that came out of his mouth. It totally crashed me. ."Dad, mom's not here. She's unconcious. The sick man did it again dad. I'm sorry dad.He took Alice too. I couldn't do anything dad. I'm sorry dad. I wish you're here with me. We could've a man talk.i watched my friends have those kind of conversations with their father. I wished we could've done that with you. Dad, I hoped you listen to me from above.I know you would. After all, I'm your son right?" His voice vulnerable.

Tears started rolled down my cheeks. He sounded so lost without direction. I never knew that his dad died. It crashed me to see him like this.He resembled a lost child. With the vulnerableness of his voice, and the way his eyes gleamed with hopes. It's sad how the guys in our school took their dad for granted when this boy, talks to the sky, wishing that he could have a conversation with his dead father.

As if he hadn't realized that the skies had gone dark since the moment he went out, the rain started pouring heavily.  He jumped up giddily, laughing, jumping around, letting himself soaked from head to toe. "I love you dad! I know you'll always be listening to me!" He shouted out loud. I picked my bag and ran back home, completely heartbroken with what I'd witnessed.

" Lucas, you'll one day be someone's world. And she's going to love you like no one ever before." I whispered softly before leaving.
