I walked down the crowded hallways, earning thumbs up and polite smiles. I nodded my head and waved at them. Suddenly, I bumped into someone, and paper flew everywhere. "Sorry." I muttered, quickly helping her picked the scattered papers on the ground. I looked up and our foreheads bumped together. "Ouch!" We yelped. I finally got to took a glance of her eyes.

And it was the best moment of my life.

Her green eyes continue staring deep into mine. Her eyes are so beautiful that I could just stare at it for as long as I can. We got up slowly, in sync. "Hey." I whispered just for her to hear as she looked up.She's dropped dead gorgeous. She's like an angel sent from above, the beauty she held was far more better than the beauty of the sunset. Her eyes shines brighter than 10,000 fireflies not 1000 bulbs could ever beat it.

"Hey." Her cheeks tinted pink. "Wanna go for some coffee later?"I asked feeling completely stupid as I never, ever dates a girl. Yehp, completely 0% experience."Sure." We switched our phone and put each other's number in it. I can't help but felt sad as we parted. "After school?" I offered as we begin to walked in an opposite direction.

She smiled and nodded her head.I had then realized what condition I 'm in now.

  I'm completely, utterly lovestruck.

"Lucas!" I heard her calling out for me."What?!" I turned around as suddenly, she  engulfed me in a bone crushing hug. "Guess what happened today?" Her eyes beaming. She sure looked like she's about to burst into thousand piceces over excitement.

"I like this boy and he asked me on a date with him." She finished and squealed her girlish squeal. "WHAT?!" My eyes widened at that. " No, no Alice,  for God's sake! You're 13! You can't date any boy until you're 20!" I tell her. Dad's words lingered through my mind. He told me to made sure she never dates anyone until she's 20.

"But, it's gonna be alright Lucas! He's sweet and caring." She sighed dreamily. "But-" "Please?" She begged giving me her puppy dog eyes which makes it hard to resist. "Alright." I sighed and gave up. She screamed happily as she shouted through the whole house. " I'm LOVESTRUCK!"

I ran outside the school compound as I sat by the tree where I know my father would listen to me.I began to talk to him as I plopped myself down under the tree.

"Dad, is it wrong if I'm in love dad? I can't help though. Love comes unexpectedly. Love can be a beautiful thing but somehow it can bring disaster. Alice. She's so naive in love. And because of love, she lost herself that. They took her away and all goes back to her falling in love. I'm sorry I failed dad. I tried to tell  her. But she refused to listen." I let my tears fall freely from my eyes as I rest my back on the tree trunk.

"If only she listens" I whispered to the thin air.

After waited for so long, I received no such answers from dad. My heart crashed knowing that dad's dissapointed because I failed to protect her. I hit the tree a couple times feeling pathetic."I'm sorry Alice." I whispered with every punch I threw.Though, the pain on my hand were nothing compares to what I'm feeling inside. Yet,the blood rushing out of it does mirror my heart.
